Part 9

*After school*
"Ugh I just want this school year to end!" You say flopping down on your bed. You look at your phone. You have a message from Tom.
Can I call you? I miss you. The message reads. Sure. You reply. Your phone rings instantly and you answer it. "Hello darling. How was your day? You hear Tom's smooth voice ask. "It was um.. weird." "What happened?" "Well my best friend who I've known forever told me that he likes me." "Oh.... do you feel that way about him too?" "No! Of course not but I am glad he told me." "Ok I was a little worried, love." "Sorry about that." "Its alright."
"Will things be awkward with you and your friend now?" Tom asks. "Nah they won't at least not for me." "Alright." "I miss you." You say. "I miss you too." Tom says. "I really wish it was fall long distance sucks." "Yeah I can't wait to see you again." "I've been super miserable lately." "(Y/N) dont be miserable because of me just think in a few months we can be together." "Yeah your right I should just be happy." "Alright I got to go I'll talk to you later." Tom says. "Ok bye." You say. "Bye." Tom says as he hangs up.
*Months later*
"(Y/N) are you excited to into your dorm and start college next week." Your mom asks you. "Yes I'm really excited!" You say jumping up and down. "Alright we should start loading your stuff we have to leave for New York soon." "Alright." You say as you help your mom and dad load up the car full of your stuff."
*A few hours later*
"Alright looks like your all unpacked. Now let's go eat before your dad and I go back home." Your mom says. "Alright." You say.
Hey Tom I've arrived in New York and have set up everything in my dorm. You send the text and get a quick response that says. Awesome! Can I see you later tonight I've been missing you like crazy. Yes after I have dinner with my parents I'm free. Alright perfect. Tom says.
You arrive at the restaurant and eat and then your parents drop you off at your dorm, after lots of hugs and them telling you good luck at college and have a great first day.
You call Tom. He answers. "Are you ready to meet me?" Tom says. "Yes where do you want to meet?" "I can pick you up at your college." "Ok I'll be there it's not far from my dorm." You hang up the phone and walk out of your dorm to the college. You sit on the front steps until Tom arrives. He gets out of the car and runs to greet you. When he reaches you he wraps you up in a big hug. "I missed you so much!" You say. "I missed you too. I'm so happy we can finally be together." Tom says happily. "Me too." You say.
"So where are we going?" You ask. "Well I thought about going to the museum where we first met." "Ooh! I love that idea!" You say happily as you kiss him on the cheek. The two of you get in the car and drive to the museum.
You walk into the museum. You and Tom hold hands as you look at all the cool historic stuff in the museum. "I'm really glad you brought me here." You say as you look up at Tom. "Me too." Tom says as he leans down and kisses you.
"Hey love would you like to go back to my apartment and watch a movie?" Tom asks. "Yes I would love to." You say. The two of you go back to his apartment. "What would you like to watch?" Tom asks as the two of you sit on his couch. "Can we watch Iron Man?" You ask. "Sure I love that movie." Tom says as he turns on the movie. Tom puts moves closer to you and wraps his arm around you. You rest your head on his shoulder as you watch the movie and after a while you comfortably drift off to sleep.
