Okay, I've decided I'm going to give this a shot... Why not, hey?!

So, here goes. First story.

NOTE: I recently had a rather significant change of mind regarding this story... that being, I have decided to write this thing using third-person perspective (and not first-person, as I had originally started). So, after having already written a prologue and one-and-a-half chapters, I've gone back and tweaked the writing to fit my desired style.

Now, that said, if you do happen to find any mistakes or unchanged bits and pieces (as it is quite likely that I may have missed some things here and there), I do apologise, and please feel free to point them out to me!

You know how it is; you read over something so many times, and change it so many times (in my case, mostly due to a troublesome internet connection...) and pretty soon it all starts looking the same and you're less likely to see the mistakes...
