It had been almost two weeks and no messages or calls from Crystal. Gigi felt like a attention deprived teenager lying in her bed missing the brunette next to her. She checked her phone - which had became a more occurring action for Gigi ever since parting ways with Crystal. Gigi had texted Crystal but maybe it was to no avail. Maybe she was already in someone else's bed, curled up next to some hot chick. Gigi felt sick just thinking about it. She knew she had only just met Crystal but it felt like they had a real connection.
Gigi looked at her phone one last time before she decided that it was enough moping and that she wanted to grab breakfast from the cafe down the street. She needed to get out of her house since all she did when she was alone was thinking about Crystal. She grabbed her purse, her coat and slipped on some sneakers before heading out. It was a short walk to the cafe but the sun was shining and the road there was pleasantly filled with life. She found comfort in crowded areas. She had this game she played mentally when walking down the streets. She would pick one person she saw and make up a name and profession for them. Her eyes scanned ahead of herself until she saw a tall blonde woman in her 40's. She wore a pant suit and carried a brown cross-body bag. 'Her name is Abigail from finance.' she thought to herself before scanning the crowd for someone else. A group of men caught her eyes. There was a tan guy with a striped shirt, baggy jeans and a cap flipped backwards in the middle of the crowd that whistled at Gigi when she walked by. She rolled her eyes and kept walking. 'Chad, professional douche.' She nodded to herself. Now the cafe was in sight and Gigi came to a sharp stop when she spotted the familiar face outside the cafe, seated at one of the tables. Crystal's red lips and light eye makeup could be spotted from far away to Gigi. She smiled and was ready to walk up to her and greet her when another woman sat down at the table.
A gorgeous black woman with curly black hair down to her lower back sat down at the table after kissing Crystal's cheek. They hugged and started laughing together. Gigi felt her heart break in half. Crystal didn't see her standing among the crowd not far away from the table she sat at. Gigi contemplated going to a different cafe, but it would be another few streets there and she honestly didn't feel like being out anymore. She wanted to go home, curl up into a ball in her sofa and cry her eyes out watching the notebook. Her tummy was rumbling though and she knew she needed breakfast so she just tried to move into the cafe without being spotted by Crystal. Once she successfully moved in without getting Crystals attention she stood in line to get her boba tea and her bagel. There were three people in line before her and she calmly waited for her turn when the bell above the door jingled and She heard Crystal's giggle behind her. She and that other girl. She prayed that she wouldn't notice her, although part of her wanted to just turn around and hug Crystal.
"Crazy right? and then he said-... Gigi?" Gigi froze and pretended not to have heard the girl behind her. "Gigi? Who's Gigi?" The other girl giggled thinking it was a part of Crystal's story. "No no no, wait. Gigi is that you?" Crystal's soft hand burned Gigi's shoulder when she touched it gently. Gigi scrunched her face and then quickly relaxed before turning around.
"Oh my god it is you!" Crystal laughed and pulled Gigi into a hug. Gigi chuckled nervously and wiggled out of the other girls arms uncomfortably, which seemed to surprise the other girl. "Yeah. Hi." She said dryly with a sad smile. Crystal seemed hurt but she kept talking. "Are you here for breakfast or are you meeting someone?" Gigi shook her head and sighed. "Nope, just here for breakfast." Crystal tried to smile as if nothing was wrong but Gigi's tone definitely hurt her. She looked at the other girl quickly and then back at Gigi. "Would you like to join us? There's another seat at our table." She tilted her head in the cutest way possible making Gigi's heart beat faster but she shook her head, despite her heart telling her to stay. "I've got some stuff to do at home, so maybe another time." Crystal nodded and let out a quiet "Oh." Gigi turned around and placed her order with the lady behind the counter. The cashier was cute, she thought to herself and tried to be a little extra flirty with her just to get Crystal jealous. She had no motivation for the behavior, she just missed Crystal's eyes on her.
"Here you go ma'am, One boba tea and one Bagel. Have a great day!" The black haired girl behind the counter smiled at Gigi and Gigi winked at her slightly. "Thank you, cutie. You too." Gigi got a glance over at Crystal before she left. She looked broken, and part of the messed up side in Gigi was almost happy. Happy that she felt the same that Gigi felt when she saw Crystal with the other girl. She headed home, stomping up the stairs into her house. Once the door closed behind her she felt nothing but anger inside of her. She wanted to punch the wall but she was afraid she would leave an actual mark. Instead she picked her phone up and downloaded Tinder.

There was a gentle knock on Gigi's door and she walked sensually to open it, expecting the hot pink haired girl she had matched with on tinder earlier that day. They had planned a hook up and Gigi was willing to try to forget all about Crystal. When she opened the door she was shocked at the sight of Crystals blood shot eyes at the entrance. "Crystal, what are you doing here?" Gigi said, meaning to sound less caring than she actually did. "Why are you acting so mean to meee?" Crystal hiccuped and sobbed into her hands when she saw the red haired girl. "What did i do?" Gigi's instincts took over and she pulled Crystal into a tight embrace which the other girl gladly accepted. Gigi hushed her and kissed the top of her head. "Come in."
Crystal had calmed down at the time that Gigi got back from talking to the girl downstairs about how it was a mistake and she should go home. Crystal gasped audibly at the red mark covering Gigi's rosy cheek. "She slapped you?" Crystal asked, voice revealing that she was ready to break down again at any minute. Gigi nodded but told her to never mind it. "Crys, what are you doing here? Does your girlfriend know you're here?" Crystal furrowed her brows in confusion before realization hit her right in the face. "You mean Jaida, from earlier?" Gigi nodded. "That's my best friend from high school. We're not dating, and we never have. She's married. and straight." Crystal said wiping some tears from her eyes as she smiled at Gigi.
"You thought she was my new girl?" Crystal asked Gigi and the red head nodded in agreement. "And that's the reason you were so cold to me in the cafe?" Gigi blushed and turned her head so that Crystal couldn't see. "Wait were you actually jealous?" Crystal was smiling now, Gigi could hear it in her voice.
"Yeah i got jealous, because you never called or texted me and then i caught you and some other girl kiss and eating breakfast together. I missed you like crazy and i was waiting every single day for you to text me back, but you never did and i thought you moved on and it messed with my head. I know we just met and only spent like two days together but i already know that i love you and i want to be with you but then i saw you and Jaida and my heart just broke in two and it hurt so bad and i just-" Gigi was cut off by Crystal breaking down again. "You love me? You really love me?" She sobbed and Gigi panicked and wiped her tears with her sleeve. "I do. I really love you Crystal." She took a deep breath and smiled at Crystal.
"Crystal Elizabeth Methyd, will you go out with me?"
Crystal nodded and threw herself onto Gigi, nuzzling her face into Gigi's neck. Gigi laughed as happy tears streamed down her own face. "I love you too." Crystal moaned out into Gigi's skin. Once Crystal pulled away she looked at Gigi with a small blush playing at the apple of her cheeks. She slowly leaned in and captured Gigi's lips in a sweet and romantic kiss.
"Can i stay here tonight?" Crystal sniffled and looked up at Gigi through her wet lashes. "Can you stay here forever?" Gigi giggled making Crystal break into the cutest smile. "I will as long as you love me properly." Gigi pulled Crystal into another tight hug. "I will care for you and love you for as long as you want plus a hundred years."
