First date:

Dianne was in her apartment excited for the night ahead of her. Joe was going to be picking her up very soon and she was over the moon with excitement for their first date. Dianne wore a light green dress that was down to her knees and light makeup. She was about to sit down to look through Instagram when the doorbell rang. Excited Dianne jumped up and opened the door to reveal a very nervous Joe. Joe smiled at her then took his hand from behind his back and handed her some beautiful roses. After Dianne had put the flowers into a vase her and Joe walked to the car Joe opening the door for her before getting in himself. As they sat across from each other in the empty Restaurant Joe couldn't help but stare at Dianne's pure beauty. "you look stunning tonight." Joe couldn't take his eyes off of Dianne the whole time. He had really fallen for her. The date had gone really well, and Joe and Dianne were now walking around the park hand in hand laughing and just enjoying each other's company, when there was a flash of light. "what was that?" Dianne asked with a shaken voice. Joe immediately stepped in front of Dianne in an attempted to keep her safe. "I'm not too sure. "Joe was on high alert as another flash went off, this time closer to them. Joe tightened his grip on Dianne hand and started backing up. Not taking his eyes away from the direction the flash had come from he softly spoke to Dianne. "when I say run turn and run and don't look back." Dianne nodded and watched Joe fear on her face. It went dead silent then a loud Nosie sounding like a gun shoot went off. "RUN!" Joe yelled and Dianne did exactly what Joe had instructed her to do. She ran and ran not looking back once tears streaming down her face. All she hoped was that Joe would be behind her. She ran all the way back to the side of the street they had entered the park from. She turned around to see if Joe was close behind her but all she saw was pitch black. Panic started taking over Dianne's body as she frantically looked for her dance partner. She called his name hoping he was just hiding and would come out and scare her. She kept calling but there was no answer. She waited and waited for Joe tears streaming down her face she had finally got to go on a date with the guy she had been crushing on since the start of Strictly, and now he is missing in a pitch-black park. Only bad images ran through Dianne's head as she started to walk towards the park again. she reached where her and Joe where when the flashes went off, but Joe was nowhere in sight. Tears flooding her face Dianne turned and started walking home. She was asked many times on her walk home if she needed a lift home, but she wanted to be alone. Dianne finally made it home and collapsed on the couch she did nothing but stare up at the roof wondering what had happened to the one she had fallen for. As she slowly drifted of to sleep images of Joe being taken or even killed overtook her brain forcing Dianne to jolt awake. "this is going to be a long night." She thought to herself as she made her way to make herself a cup of coffee. And she wasn't wrong the whole night she was up and down tears always filling up her eyes as she continued to worry what had happened to Joe.
