Part 5 - Yet Another Heartbreak

Sana stood there watching the two hug, Sid looked awkward but he reciprocated equally.

Jasmine - "hey guys....my name's jasmine"as she breaks the hug

Everyone looks at her being confused as they all knew about sana and Sid being each other's date.

Jasmine - "sid tell them na...who I am" as she felt awkward with the looks they all gave her.

Sid - "uhh..yeah.....guys this is jasmine....my.....ch...childhood friend.." as he tried to not look at sana out of embarrassment and guilt.

Jasmine - "childhood friend and girlfriend....how can you forget that babe"

Sana's eyes widened with shock and she felt something weird, it was the second time Sid had broken her heart and she wasn't gonna take any more of his stupidity, so she walked away from there and sat at the food bar.

Everyone returned to what they were doing but Sid was the topic of all the gossip that was happening. The music started again and everyone danced with their dates.

Sana was sitting at the food bar and was binging on the snacks, it was a way to release stress for her. She watched jasmine and Sid lightly swaying with the music. She was leaning onto his chest and he had his arm around her as they danced.

Sana had promised herself that she wasn't gonna take anything seriously but for a second there she felt something different when Sid was on that stage for her, but now she was confused, about if that was even for her. She had all these questions in her head and it ached from all the stress. She thought of leaving the party to rest for a bit.

Sid saw sana go out and it was the best way to talk to her, to convince her of his mistakes, or so he thought. He made an excuse and left after her. He saw her in the hall and followed her. He grabbed her from the wrist and turned her around shocking her.

Sana - "what are you doing" as she gave him a stare.

Sid - "sana I need to talk to you"

She stares at him and hints at him leaving her arm.

Sid - "uhh...sorry" as he let go of her wrist.

"Sana I can explain why that happened...just...please talk to me"

Sana - "Sid relax I don't care I'm okay" and she tries to walk away from further confrontation.

He grabs her again and lightly pushes her towards a locker

Sid - "so you're not affected by that.." as he stared into her eyes

Sana - "I am...i mean I was, but I understand she's important to you...and she's your Girlfriend, you should be with her" , trying to get out of his hold

Sid - "just let me explain please" as he tried to talk but she walked away releasing herself from his hands.

She gave the impression that it didn't matter to her but it mattered a lot. She was keeping it all inside and put up a strong front. Sid also thought everything was cool enough between them and he didn't wanna push it, ruining any chances he had left.

he went back to the party and tried to pull jasmine out to talk to her, to tell her what had been happening when she was away.

Jasmine - "babe what's wrong where are u taking me"

Sid - "I need to talk to you jas"

Jas - "yeah what is it"

Sid - "you know how we left things right....and a lot has happened when you weren't here"

Jas - "i know long distance wasn't for us but now I'm here na and we can work things out"

Sid - "jas but it's not the same...I mean..." as he tried to tell her but she interrupted.

Jas - "Sid it's okay... I Love you and you Love me.. that's all that matters right,....you do love me right" she asked him as she got weird vibes from him.

He looked at her and she was waiting for a yes, he didn't want to break another heart and so he told her what she wanted to hear "y..yeah I do"

Jas - "we'll fix everything together babe" and she leans in and kisses him.

Sidharth awkwardly lets her kiss and she moves away. He didn't know how to tell her and sana also told him she didn't care so he let whatever it was continue, not knowing what was the right thing to do.

Sana passing by saw them hugging and couldn't hold back from passing a sarcastic comment

Sana - "Aww how Cuteee you two are" as she rolled her eyes at Sid and walked off.

Sana walked to her room and sat in her bed, trying to sleep and get past all the drama the day brought for her. She brought a few chocolates with her and started binging on those to get back into a better mood as her eyes teared up.

She heard someone walk in and cleaned her eyes instantly to avoid any conversation. It was one of the girls from her team, the Bluejays.

Amber - "hey sana, are you ok"

Sana was taken aback as they never really interacted before.

Sana - "yeah I'm fine.." as she passed a slight smile

Amber - "I'm Amber if you didn't know" as she laughed

Sana - "of course I do, we're in the same team"

There was an awkward laugh between them but eventually the ice broke and they started talking.

Amber - "I'm sorry about what happened earlier...it's his loss...and all boys are jerks anyways"

They both laughed and talked but sana had this thought at the back of her mind and she couldn't stop herself from saying it.

Sana - "you know I thought he was different....I had a different feeling when I was with him" as her eye teared up again.

Amber - "hey no crying ok...you should sleep now and give a little rest to your brain" trying to comfort her.

Sana - "thanks for talking amber, I feel better" as she smiled at her

She got into her blanket and eventually slept.
