Welcome Home Ch:8

Two weeks later...
Kataya goes out of Choji's house for the first time since she's been home. Kakashi walks by Ichiraku's it's about 2 o'clock. He see a shadow behind the curtain it looks familiar. He goes to check it out.

"Kelsie?"

"Kakashi?"

She springs up running being only a couple feet she stumbles stepping on his feet trying to give him a hug.

"Ouch." He chuckles at her sudden extreme excitment.

"Sorry" she then gives him a tight hug.

"Ok so what happened? You we're supposed be here two weeks ago." 

"Yeah....some...one needed my help for a couple of days?" She studders.

"Who needed your help?"

"Uh...an old friend."

"Ok. I had a party set up the other Saturday night. Would you come this Saturday if  I hosted another one at Ino's?"

"Yeah! You don't have to ask me twice."

"Alright! Mind if I sit down and get a bite to eat and we catch up?"

"Well that's a silly question. Your always welcome to come and eat with me."

Next Saturday morning...

Kakashi wakes up early seeing Kataya laying next to him in his bed. "Hey you ok? This is the first time you came to lay in my bed."

"I'm sorry I hope I didn't wake you."

"No the sun was shining in my eyes."

She looks out seeing the sun has just barely started to rise. "Um ok?"

"So did you have a nightmare or did something else made you decide to sleep in my bed?"

"A nightmare, that Orochimaru he turned himself into the biggest snake ever. He bit my father first being that he was stronger after that my mother he bit my mom." She starts to cry.

"I then saw him dragging my father off. They we're dead."

"Oh no." Kakashi sighs, "Well I'll tell you that there might be a possibility they are still alive."

"W-what? What are you saying."

"Kataya, what are your parents names?"

"Leonid Fukutomi was my father and Annika Fukutomi was my mother."

"Well I have a record of those people, and I know Orochimaru enough that he wouldn't have killed them."

"Kakashi your telling me this now! Why didn't you tell me before when I talked about them the first time?!" Kataya asks sternly.

"Because I knew you enough that you would be impaulsive. Your a lot like Naruto in that way."

She gives him the meanest glare. And starts to turn away.

He answers quickly, "But in a good way! I just didn't want you going out to find  them and getting hurt. Kataya?" He asks softly, grabbing her arm gently trying to get her attention back. A few moments go by then he says, "Kataya I'd like to have a nice day today with you. I planned on walking around town doing what we use to do. Maybe it'll get your mind off it. If you'd like we can head out tomorrow and look for them."

Kataya makes a big sigh, "I'd like to have a good day as well. Maybe in a couple days we can set out, all of this needs to set in."
