(TW: overdose, suicide.)
monday, july 6. 10:21 pm.
daisy set her keys down on her counter, she just arrived home from a family dinner that went well for the most part. she went into her room and slid on a pair of sweats and a tank top, she took all of her makeup off and took her hair down. daisy walked over to her bed and laid down, she grabbed her phone and texted hayden.
( note: kind of throwing some of his character, sam monroe's things in.)
meanwhile, hayden had been arguing with his mother for the fifth time in the past three hours. "mom, it's not my fucking fault dad left, you can't blame me for your actions. deal with it, YOU fucked up your marriage, i didn't." he snapped at his mother then ran into his room that he had at his mothers house, some days he stayed there and other days he'd be back at his apartment. his mother called daisy to come pick him up because she didn't want him in her house anymore, she told her that she had to help him pack his things and she wanted him out by midnight. hayden was pacing around his room, he ran over to his bed side table and grabbed pills, he put them in his mouth. once he was about to swallow, daisy had walked in, she froze in the doorframe then realized what was going on. hayden was going to swallow the pills, daisy ran over to him and pushed him out of the room and into the bathroom. "throw those up right now or i swear to fucking god hayden i'm going to scream." it was clear that daisy was in pain by the way she sounded, hayden shoved his fingers in his mouth to the back of his tongue to force the pills up. eventually, it all came up, he threw up into the toilet and held back his tears. daisy stood behind him, trying not to make faces since she hates hearing people vomit. she kneeled down next to him and rubbed his back, tears streamed down his face as he made sure all of them came up, he flushed then looked at her. "why hayden? why did you try?." she asked him, she focused on his eyes and all she could see was pain and heartbreak. "she blames everything on me, it's always my fault. i can't do it anymore, i didn't know what i was doing but i did at the same time. i would never do it on purpose to hurt you, it was in the moment, daisy. i'm so sorry." he sobbed, the tears streamed down his face as he fell into her arms. daisy held him close as tears streamed down her face as well. "i can't live without you hayden. please don't do that ever again. if something ever happens like this again, think before you hurt yourself, call me before you do anything." she said softly then kissed his temple softly, he looked up at her and nodded. "she wants you out of the house by midnight, she told me to help you get your stuff, and that's what i'm going to do. i'm so sorry hayden." she said softly and his face turned white. "she.....she wants me out?" he looked at her as more tears streamed down his face, she nodded and wiped his tears away. "it's gonna be okay, trust me. what you're going to do is you're gonna move in with me, i know our apartments are right next to eachother but i think it's the best thing to do." she said while standing up, she helped him up and held his hand, intertwining their fingers together. "alright...." he nodded then lead her to his room, they packed everything up, by the time they finished it was midnight. they brought everything downstairs and piled it into her car, hayden looked at his mother and shook his head slightly then walked back to daisy's car and got in the passengers side, daisy got in the drivers then looked at him. hayden kept his head turned towards his window, daisy rested her hand on top of his. "i'm here, baby. i always will be." she said softly then started driving back to the apartment building. they got out and started bringing all the bags and boxes inside, they piled them in the apartment and neatened them up. hayden sat down on the couch and daisy locked the door up for the night, she walked over and sat down next to him. "how are you feeling?" she asked softly while resting her arm around his shoulders, he looked at her and melted into her arms. hayden rested his head on her shoulder and sighed softly, daisy wrapped an arm around him and used the other hand to run her fingers through his hair. "i don't know how to feel, i'm numb." he said quietly as his eyes started to tear up again, daisy nodded slightly. "i know, love. i noticed, but it's going to be okay. i'm here with you and i'm not going to let anything happen to you, i promise." she said and those words hit him, he bursted out crying. daisy frowned and pulled him on top of her, she laid herself across the couch and held him on top of her, he cried into the crook of her neck. daisy rubbed his back and sighed softly, "it's okay, just let it out." she said softly as he cried more, he's never felt more save in his life. "she....she made me f-feel so worthless." he said in between sobs, daisy nodded and kept rubbing his back. "i know, i know she did. you don't deserve that, ever. you're a good person, you deserve nothing but love and happiness and i'm going to give you that, no matter what the cost is." she said as he got off of her and stood up, still crying. daisy also stood up and hugged him tightly, even though she was five or six inches shorter than him. he cried into her shoulder and started to hiccup from how much he's let out, daisy started to lead him to her room. she lead him over to the opposite side, she grabbed the bottom of his shirt and he raised his arms up, she removed his shirt carefully and looked into his eyes. hayden looked down at her as the tears ran down his face, he leaned in and kissed her gently, they pulled away a few moments later. daisy placed one of her small hands onto his chest and focused on his eyes, she placed her other hand on his cheek and wiped the warm tears away. she got into bed and laid down, she held her arms out to him. he climbed on top of her carefully and lowered himself down. daisy pulled the covers over the both of them and closed her eyes, hayden rested his head down on her chest and fell asleep.
