Chapter 1 : trust

"Delphine"?, Cosima said in a worried voice still barely conscious, "yes, Cosima, whats wrong". Delphine replied in a southing tone. "i...i don't (sigh) i don't know how to deal with this whole, drama thing, i just..." Cosima said tearing up, Delphine sighed and walked over to Cosima and lifted her chin with her hand she looked in cosima's eyes. with soft caring eyes and whispered, "you don't have to go through this alone i will always be by your side no matter what." Delphine slid her hand onto cosima's cheek and kissed her gently,"thank you Delphine". Cosima said in a relaxed tone. "so, whats on the scedual today DR.cormier, anything exciting." Cosima said as she walked over to the bench where Delphine was working, " no nothing really, just this." Delphine gestured to the small tube with a thick clear liquid in it. " whats this"? Cosima said sarcastically gesturing too the small tube. "um...its blood cells, white blood cells." Delphine said nervously. cosima's expression turned stern " who's blood cells."? Delphine looked at cosima then sighed and turned to face the ground "Sarah's". Delphine said quietly. cosima stood shocked for a seond she then leant over the desk crying "why do you do this Delphine I start to trust you completely again and you BLOW IT UP!" Cosima said frustrated tears still streaming down her face,"I.." 'NO.. no Delphine it don't want to hear it please just leave". Delphine hesitated then walked out of the lab she closed the door behind her and leant up against the wall and started to cry she slid down the wall and put her face in her hands. Scott walked down the hallway and stood frozen shocked when he saw Delphine on the ground in an absolute mess. he slowly walked towards her, he knelt down beside her and put his hand on her shoulder he hesitated a bit then asked her'" what happened" Delphine looked at Scott and wiped a tear from her cheek " Cosima , she found out about Sarah" Scott looked down at Delphine." did you tell her what you where doing with it or did you just say it was Sarah's. " Delphine frowned "does it make a difference.?" Scott sighed and opened the door and found Cosima sitting in her chair staring at the ceiling with tears running down her face. Scott walked over and pull a chair up beside Cosima and picked up the tube and looked at. "this. was not Delphine's idea, Delphine had no choice she was forced to do it. but not by any dyad member," Cosima looked down from the ceiling and looked in Scott's eyes. " it was Sarah who did it she was going to kill Delphine if she didn't do it. she wanted Delphine to see if there was something anything that could be better or just as effective as kira's marrow. Delphine is doing this for you, Kira and Sarah, and i don't want to be harsh here but you didn't give Delphine a chance to explain herself, you just gave up on her, she really is on your side now.
cosima looked down and gestured to the door "can you get her please," Scott looked at Cosima then looked at the door " why don't you go get her" Cosima looked at the door then slowly got up and walked over to the door she opened the door slowly like it weighed a tonne, she stepped out and looked down beside her and saw Delphine sitting on the ground leaning up against the wall staring at the wall on the opposite side of the hallway, her eyes where red and her face was wet with tears. Cosima sat down next to Delphine. and looked at the ground and sighed " look, Delphine I'm sorry I should have let you explain what was going it was stupid of me and i should have trust you to tell the truth i should have realised that you are helping us your not one of the bad guys.. I'm sorry". Delphine put her hand on cosima's and looked into cosima's eyes "you don't have to apologise Cosima it ok i understand, why you struggle to trust me sometimes I have lied to you before i thought it would keep you safe, but it just put you in more danger, no more lies for either of us "ok?"Cosima looked at Delphine and smiled "deal, I trust you puppy" Delphine and Cosima laughed and leant in to hug each other then got up and walked inside to Scott " thank you Scott" the both said in sync then they giggled to each other. Scott smiled " i take it you guys made up" Delphine smiled and looked at Cosima "yeah... definitely."
