𝙍𝙪𝙣 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙮 || 𝘒𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘢𝘦𝘩𝘺𝘶𝘯

Packing

After eating your yummy burger, you decide to head home to start packing a few things to leave. It was late when you finally make it home.

You opened the front door to a screech of a woman echoing through the living area. Your year younger brother is sitting on his phone and watching some show. On the television there was a girl in bikini underwear walking out of a bar, as if she was drunk.

He must not have heard me come in, otherwise he would've changed it.

You scamper by quickly so he wouldn't yell at you for being down there.

A chilled breeze brushed against your face as you moved up the stairs. The window was open in the bathroom straight ahead of you. Proceeding to your bedroom, you enter the closet and grab Your backpack and start to pack. You grabbed a big pile of clothes that you set on your bed earlier and stuff it inside, then, grab a bunch of toiletries that are necessary to stay clean and kept.

You also decide to grab a blanket to keep yourself warm, and a water bottle.

Dialing Tae's contact, a chill ran down your back.

Is this really a good idea? You stand there with your phone in your hand, thinking and looking out of the open window. It was quite dark outside, and very windy. Another breeze flew against your face.

Ignoring the two different voices in your head, your thumb presses the call button.

"YN are you ready?" Taehyun's voice immediately gushed.

"I think so."

"are you okay? you sound nervous."

He was right. Your heart was nearly beating out of your chest.

"Yeah. Whats our plan though?"

"We can figure that out later! this is going to be an adventure YN,"

"but we need a plan." you urged.

He let out a sigh.

"I have a little plan YN. Don't worry so much."

You were definitely worried but you were willing to take the chance.

"Okay, your right. How do I leave though? My brother is downstairs watching TV and I think my parents are down there somewhere too."

"Wow there up this late?" He questioned. "You know what, I'll be right over to help you out of your window."

"Okay." You mention, and then he hung up.

It took about thirty minutes for him to finally appear outside with his bags, so in the mean time you grabbed your phone charger, your wallet, and a few snacks from your stash in your room to put in a separate bag. You looked at him through your window and you could see the gleam of his smile beaming up at you.

You slowly pulled one of your shaking legs over the bottom of the window. He quickly moved to the side of you house, leaving you there. You then pulled your other leg over and sat on the ledge, dangling your feet with the breeze moving between your shoe laces.

He walked back to you with a long wooden ladder, that is usually used for decoration. He set it up under you, so you had something to crawl down on.

"Is this safe?"

"Of course it is, I used it yesterday." He yelled.

"Okay." You stepped down the ladder with your bag on your back. The stairs were creaky and seemed like they could break at any moment.

you continued down the steps and eventually make it about five steps to the bottom when the wind starts to push the ladder over towards your front door.

"Tae catch me!" You yell as you wobble on your feet. You drop your bag into the rose bushes and jump just as the whole ladder falls over onto the ground.

You land directly onto Taehyun, who attempts to catch you by wrapping his arms around you, but just winds up falling over as well when you two make contact. You lay on top of him in the damp grass, with his arms still around your torso.

"Thanks for that." you giggle, staring into his eyes.

He let out a laugh as well. His laugh could put smiles on every person in a stadium.

You and Taehyun were close. Even closer than you two were when you fell asleep together the night before this one. You felt a blush creep onto your face again.

"We should go before your parents catch us!" he mocked, holding up his fingers for air quotes while speaking.

You knew you were not going to regret running away with him.
