Chapter 2- New Begginings

I usually dont start with a note but heyy! its been a long while and I decided to hop back onto wattpad and write again!!~ this is going to be a one shot type story so leave me all your suggestions!!

"this is so stupid..." Virgil huffed in embarrasment as well as frustration, he had marks all over his shoulders from his and Logans makeout session the night before. You wouldnt beleive it but underneath all that cold and collected exterior he hid a more primal side he rarely showed it because it ruined his image but he was very protective over the other sides even over Roman of all people. Virgil wore a sleevless turtleneck beneath his usual hoodie to hide his neck and did his usual rutine he had spent the night in Logans room so he felt stone cold and wayyy to analitical for his taste he left and took a deep breath sliding down the railing on his way down to join the others at the breakfast table...which happened to be the couch at this point. Patton was in a onsie eating mickey mouse shaped waffles along side Roman who was also dressed in a onsie. They were watching Toy story 4 much to logans dismay. Logan was curled against the corner of the couch listening to a podcast he looked up at virgil and gave him a half smile not wanting the other sides to see. 

"Hey Kiddo wanna join me and Roman? I made wafflessss~" Patton cooed at him holding out a plate of waffles with jam and butter on top with maple syrup just in case. VIrgil gave a small side and took the plate sitting between where Patton was on the couch and Logan slipping his headphones in and listening to to murder mystery Podcasts as well as a bit of PANIC! to relax and get himself mellowed out he couln't help the flush that spread across his cheeks when he saw Logan look him up and down gesturing to his own neck to point out Virgils turtleneck with a slight smirk and a glint in his eye. Roman picked up on this and sat next to virgil, 

"soooo~ whats goin' on here hm?"

"Ah! Holy hell Roman-" Virgil shouted taking a seccond to catch his breath, "you scred the shiii-" patton shot him a slight glare, "I was gonna say Shittaki-" he finished with a sigh "anyway what the hell are you talking about Roman? There isnt anything going on." He gave his usual sollem look to throw Roman off his trail. Roman looked him up and down noticing the newly sprouted turtle neck. He tilted his head to the side not meaning to but showing obvious confusion causing Virgil to stand up a blush staining his pale face, "Im just going to take care of my dishes okay bye!" Virgil shuffled away to the kitchen placing his dishes in the sink washing up touching his neck from the outside of the turtleneck a little not hiding the smile and the blush that was practically spread ear to ear at this point, the others- besides Logan of course- have never seen Virgil smile that big before. And honestly whatever was making the younger side smile so much was bound to be a good thing and they were glad he was happy. Virgil soon joined the others as Roman was picking the next disney movie but was inturupted by both Roman and Logan being called to see Thomas to work on their next video. Virgil and Patton were left to themselves and Patton patted the spot next to him on the couch, Virgil happily obliged and scooted over leaning against him as Patton reached an arm around him rubbing his shoulder he gave Virgil a warm smile and turned on Black culdron for Virgil to relax to. Halfway through Roman and Logan returned Patton stood and left with Roman going to their respective rooms leaving Logan and a sleeping Virgil in the living area. Logan lifted Virgil up and sat down holding the smaller lad in his lap cradeling him almost like a baby and brushing his hair out of his eyes kissing his undereye bags and whispering sweet nothings to him as he rested. 

"my sweet boy.." he cooed letting his gaurd down for once, "I will always be here to protect you my love.."
