I sighed. "Well, it all started when a new student was rumored to be attending. My 'friends' wanted me to give her a 'warm' welcome. There was this tradition where the new student would have to go through traumatizing experiences before they were allowed to be left alone or could potentially join their group but for the latter, they would have to prove themselves by doing the same thing to the next new student and so on...", I explained as Miss Luna listened intently.

"It was finally my chance to be left alone and let them target the new girl, but I just couldn't. Knowing that I might as well be expelled, I left notes for the new girl to help her survive the school. Unfortunately, I never got to meet her because the day before she came I told the girls that I wasn't going to do it. They were not happy, so they stole the answers from tests that were 40% of our grade and placed it in my locker." I clenched my fists trying not to act bothered, but deep down...

I was broken

"Of course the principal was furious at me, even refusing to listen to my side. She then expelled me and I spent the last day as the biggest outcast. Mom got a better job here so we moved from the city and came here for a fresh start, but you know how that went..." I felt angry that I was forced to tell her this, but at the same time, lighter?

My mom instantly hugged me as tears were threatening to slide down my face. "Please don't cry honey, you were so brave." I nodded slowly as I sniffled. "There. Now you know the whole story. Does it satisfy you?" Mom said with disgust.

Miss Luna flinched for a split second by my mom's voice but composed herself rather quickly. "I apologize y/n, for making you talk about a sensitive subject. Rest assured, history will not repeat itself. I appreciate you telling me this. You may go now." She dismissed us.

I walked with my mom out of the office when I saw Flash sitting on the couch. "I better go now. Call me if you need anything." Mom kissed my cheek and left, leaving me and Flash in awkward silence.

"D-did you hear everything?" He nodded. "Y/n..." I hugged him as my tears came back. "Hah. You must feel pretty disgusted right now. I'm sorry." I slowly pulled away from the embrace, but he held me tight.

"You don't have to pity me you know...Besides, I'm sure your date wouldn't approve of this. It's probably best if I--" He went and kissed me. I was shocked at first, but relaxed to the feeling and kissed him back. I felt like I was on cloud 9.

After a few seconds, he pulled back."First of all, I made it clear to Twilight that we were going only as friends. Second of all, I've been dreaming of kissing you forever now. Third, you are the most gorgeous, strongest, smartest, coolest, kindest girl I've ever known in my whole life and I'm so lucky to have you back in my life."

Blood rushed to my cheeks as I felt warm. "Flash...I feel the same way." Flash beamed and lifted me off the ground and spun me around. "Woah!" I yelped. "Sorry. I'm just so happy." He smiled.

I smiled back. "Me too." I instantly remembered where I needed to be. "Ohmigoshi'msorryihavetogosomewhereiloveyoubye!" I rushed out.

~Flash's POV~

Did she just say she loves me?  I clasped my rapidly beating heart as I replayed the scene in my head.

What is she doing to me?
