"It's been a year now Bill...So much has changed and I wish you were still here with me."

Dipper was sitting in the clearing that now held Bill Cipher memorial. Dipper wasn't wrong, so much has changed for him within the year. Ever since Dipper and Mabel made the memorial for Bill, Dipper cut any and all contact with Ford, he talks to his Grunkle Stan every now and again, but over all he mostly only talks to his sister, Mabel. Maybe because she was the only one left that he felt was trustworthy or maybe it was because she was the only one that was truly there for him when he lost Bill. To be honest no one truly knows as Dipper rarely even talked to the town folk after what happened.

Dipper lives in a small cabin far in the woods, farther than Ford has ever gone. To say Dipper had fallen into a depression would be the best way to describe it. Dipper found it hard to express himself and his emotions to others. He even found it hard to open up to his own sister.

"Did you know Sixer tried to take out your flowers for an experiment?" Dipper said, "Luckily I was here to stop him!"

It was true. Ford didn't even care that the magical flowers were for Bill. Honestly Ford just wanted to get rid of the memorial more than anything but of course Dipper wouldn't allow that to happen to one of the few things that he has left of Bill. Dealing with the loss of Bill was the only thing Dipper had on his mind for the past year.

"I still wear your eyepatch. I haven't taken it off sense the day I found it in my sketchbook." Dipper paused as he raised his hand up to his face and lightly touched the eyepatch, "I think it looked better on you then it does me..."

Dipper lowered his hand and looked down at the forest floor, falling silent. It seemed as though the entire forest had fallen silent. The trees didn't dance in the wind, no birds sang their songs, all had fallen silent.

"Well, I think the eye patch looks cute on you....PineTree" said a voice from behind.

In an instant, Dipper perked his head up and looked behind him. From there he was faced with a familiar man he recognized almost instantly. Dipper stood from where he was sitting and faced the man. Dipper froze in shock. Was this his imagination playing tricks on him again? Was this another one of his twisted dreams? The man opened his arms to Dipper as if he was getting ready for a hug.

"Come on Pinetree, I think I owe you a hug." The man said as he smiled softly.

At that moment Dipper ran as fast as he could to the man, embracing him in a hug and knocking them both over in the process. Even if this was another twisted dream...it was the best one so far. Dipper felt....comforted.

"B-Bill please tell me this isn't a dream...?" Dipper asked quietly.

"This isn't a dream Pinetree....and I promise you that I am never leaving you. Ever. Again." Bill said as he hugged Dipper tight.

That was it. That was what Dipper wanted to hear. For the past year, Dipper finally heard the words he wanted to hear come out of Bill's mouth.Dipper started to cry softly as he held onto Bill tight, afraid he was going to disappear again.

Finally...after a year the two lovers are complete again.
