Turns out Maria told Tommy she couldn't spare anyone and he left on his own to protect you and Ellie or at least that's what you assume happened because he never picked you up.
You went over to Joels house to look around. Memories everywhere you look. You look all around until you run across his favorite jacket in his closet.

You smell it and it smells just like him.

Y/n: I miss him so much.

You put the jacket on and head out and you find Maria waiting for you.

Maria: Not you too.

Y/n: I'm guessing Tommy left without me.

Maria: Yes. Dina and Ellie left as well.

Y/n: Well add me to that list because I'm going.

Jesse: You can add me too.

Y/n: Jesse?

Jesse: What they did to Joel was fucked up. I looked up to Joel he was like a role model to me. I'm coming with you.

Maria: I already had this discussion with Ellie and Dina you can take your horses and ammo. Just please don't get yourselves hurt. Your like sons to me.

Y/n: We'll try. Thank you.

Maria: Your welcome.

Y/n: So how long ago did they head out?

Maria: About an hour ago.

Y/n: Well come on Jesse! We better hurry up if we wanna catch up.

Seattle Day 1

Jesse: Well the gate is open. Might as well have just invited us in at this point.

Jesse: So where do you think Dina, Ellie, and Tommy are?

You shrug your shoulders and continue walking in silence.

Jesse: Alright something's wrong. What's going on?

Y/n: What do you mean?

Jesse: You're not talking. You're always talking.

Y/n: I'm fine sorry I was just... thinking.

Jesse: I know what you're thinking. Stop it's not your fault.

Y/n: Yes it is. I should have done something more. I should have been stronger. I SHOULD HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN THERE INSTEAD OF SLEEPING ALL DAY LIKE A LITTLE FUCKING KID!

Jesse: Its fine bro we've known each other for a long time. I know you. It's not your fault and you can't blame yourself for that.

You take your sword out of its sheath to examine it.

Jesse: Something wrong?

Y/n: No just a bit of blood on my sword.

Jesse: Something wrong with that?

Y/n: No, I intend for there to be more.

Jesse: Sooo where'd you get the sword?

Y/n: It was my Dad's he gave it to me when he...

Jesse: It's ok I understand. Sorry didn't mean to bring up difficult memories.

Y/n: Its fine.

Jesse: So where we headed?

Y/n: I don't---

*BOOM*

Jesse: So I guess we're going in that direction?

Y/n: Yeah definitely.

You and Jesse ride on horseback up to about half a block away from where they heard the explosion

Y/n: Stop.

Jesse: Why?

Y/n: Leave the horses I don't want them to die incase we get ambushed.

Jesse: Fair enough.

Y/n: You see the emergency stairs on the side of the building?

Jesse: Yeah.

Y/n: I'll give you a boost.

You walk over to the stairs and lean over slightly putting out your hands

Y/n: Its pretty high so you'll need a running start.

Jesse runs towards you and jumps while you launch him into the air with your hands

Jesse: Alright, now I'll pull you up.

You ignore him running towards the wall you run up it for a second then push off with your hand and grab the stairs pulling yourself up

Jesse: Holy shit! How long have you been able to do that for?

Y/n: About a year.

Jesse: Now that was fucking cool.

Y/n: Let's just hurry up.

You and Jesse climb up the stairs all the way to the roof

Jesse: So parcore guy what now

Y/n: We jump roof to roof.

Jesse: And your officially fucking crazy.

Y/n: You know what actually you should stay here and watch the horses anyway.

Jesse: Then what was the point in me coming up here?

Y/n: I don't know. I mean you're safer up here.

Jesse: Ok so how do you plan on jumping roof to roof?

Y/n: Simple I just do it.

Jesse: If the next ones taller than the one you're on?

Y/n: I improvise.

Jesse: Thats not a plan you don't plan to improvise.

Y/n: Just did.

You don't wait for him to respond as you run and jump to the next roof and then to the next until you reach the third its higher than the other two you see an open window and you jump over and grab the windowsill climbing in you go to the next and last one which is far shorter you break a window on the building you're in and look out the window at the building you see three people inside through the glass roof and one person standing on top the roof

You pull out your sniper to get a closer look and its Dina on the roof and Ellie being held captive by two guys one you don't recognize and the other one is --

Y/n: That fucking piece of shit.

You see one pull out a gun on Ellie and you line up the shot Dina takes it first killing the man with the gun you quickly shoot the other his arm and then his leg

Ellie checks his pockets and takes something out then runs Dina also moves from her place on the roof leaving your line of sight.

Y/n: Time to "Borrow" this asshole.

You grab some rope you found in the building you were in and put it away before slowly climbing out the window. You get about halfway down before you decide that you can safely jump to the next building. You jump through the hole your sniper made in the glass and stealthily drag the guy that you think is named Jordan out.

You tie his arms and legs together and drag him through the alleyways sneaking back to where you left Jesse.
