Y/N KNEW THAT WENDY WAS A VERY JUMPY CHILD. She got scared easily, very easily. When she was younger the blueberry would jump every time the tv was turned up too loudly. The THX sound before a movie was always a killer for the poor child, she would cry every time it pierced through the speakers. She was scared of the dark, being left alone for too long, there was a point in time where she was scared shitless of the fridge, and of course she was terrified of the demons under the bed.
That was partly Y/Ns fault, evidently hiding under Wendys' bed and pretending to be a monster had some pretty long term consequences.
"God Wendy, it's an expensive car. You're looking at it like it's a transformer." Y/N commented as she eyed her sisters' shaking form. She was literally shaking in her boots.
The newly formed trio had exited the hospital, narrowly escaping Porlyusica knocking them all out with a broom. The old woman shot Natsu a bone-chilling glare, he shot her back a fiery one of his own.
"But-but we don't know this man!" Wendy squeaked out. The fourteen-year-old was flex taped to Y/Ns. She poked her head out from her sister's side, her brown eyes wide in a curious fear as she studied Mr. Stranger Danger as she would call him. "We can't get in a car with him."
"Sure we can!"
"We ain't never did that before. Why'd you think today was the day to do that?" Wendy whispered to her sister
Y/N cackled loudly at her sister, proud that all the nights of forcing her to watch tik took had paid off. Her lips curved upwards joyfully before she violently ruffled her sister's hair. "He's not a stranger! I've had brief conversations with him like...three times! Hell the first time I met him he asked me to marry him! He could be your brother in law you know."
Natsu who was walking on the other side of Y/N blushed brightly. His cheeks heating up a beautiful shade of rosy pink. His line of vision fell on Y/N, a small almost unnoticeable smile graced his sun-kissed skin. Brother in law... he liked the sound of that. His eyes shone brightly as they fell on the younger girl.
He had hoped his future sister in law would have shared the same hot excitement he did... but that just wasn't it chief.
Upon making eye contact with Mr. Stranger Danger, Wendy screamed and threw herself back into Y/N's side. She buried her face into Y/N, trying to hide from the man she was about to get in a car with.
