CHAPTER-14

Jin was getting ready for the party. Taehyung's mom personally chose a suit for Jin especially for this party. Jin is nervous. It's his first appearance as Taehyung's husband. The party will be held in Taehyung's ancestral house, which is a bit away from their apartment. Jin also bought a gift for Jungkook, his favourite PS4. He will go alone as Taehyung will meet him just a few metres way from his ancestral house. Jin also didn't expect that Taehyung will go with him but he has to assume that he cam along with Taehyung in the same car.

Jin was almost done with his hair wen he heard a knock on the door. "It must be Maria with the shoes" Jin thought to himself so he replied "Come in". as soon as the door opened, he saw that Taehyung is standing in all his glory. Jin couldn't take his eyes off Taehyung. He was looking immensely handsome. Jin was literally drooling, but when he realized this, he regained his composure. He was slightly embarrassed about his behaviour. So, he turned around to do some final touches. He was deeply flustered.

"Umm! You ready? We have to leave now otherwise we will be late." Taehyung said. Jin was astonished as far as he knew he will be going alone, but this is something new to him.

"You are gong with me?" Jin asked. Bewilderment was evident in his voice.

'Yes. Mom said that we have to go together as there will be huge number of media houses and I can't let my hard-earned reputation to go in the trash bin. So, we are going together in the same car." He said. Jin noticed that Taehyung is very irritated. Jin just smile actually mocked his misfortune. That is husband cannot stand his presence even for half an hour.

They left after 4 minutes. A limousine was waiting for them. Jin was awestruck with its beauty. But by the time he recovered from the shock Taehyung already went inside the car. He didn't even open the car door for Jin. Also, Jin knew that it would never happen, at least not in this life time. Taehyung was silent throughout the ride. As if it is only Jin travelling alone. He just turned his eyes sideways and saw that Taehyung was chatting with someone on the phone and he was also smiling. It didn't take Jin to know who it is. He just laughed and he was mesmerised see Taehyung smiling. "At least he is smiling Jinnie even if its not for you" Jin thought to himself. After driving for close to 1 hour the car stopped. Jin was awestruck seeing the mansion

The mansion was decorated with beautiful lights. There were camera flashes everywhere. Off course it is the Kim's party. Jin and Taehyung pushed through the crowd to enter into the hall. They were almost at the entrance when they were stopped for a quick bite.

"Who is this with you Mr. Kim Taehyung?" one of the reporters asked.

"He is my husband, Kim Seokjin" Taehyung replied. Jin got really happy hearing Taehyung's reply. Taehyung engulfed Jin in a side hug to save him from the crowd. Although there were bodyguards but Jin found Taehyung's arms more comfortable and cosier. But this feeling was short lived as Taehyung left him immediately after getting into the hall.

Jin was greeted with a hug from Taehyung's parents. "so good to see you Jin" his mother-in-law said. Jungkook was surrounded with his friends, but as soon as he saw Taehyung and Jin he came running towards them.

"Hyung, so good to see you" Jungkook said hugging Taehyung.

"Off course we would be here, so proud of you little brother." Taehyung said. Jungkook then turned towards Jin and said.

"Hey! Jin hyung. Looking handsome as always, hyung." Jungkook said to Jin.

"Congratulations, Kookie. I knew you would do something out of the box." Jin said and handed Jungkook his gift. Jungkook tightly hugged not because he received his favourite PS4, but also for the unconditional love and support that his Jin hyung gave him before his exams. Then Taehyung's went to the stage to give his speech and also commence the celebrations.

"I am extremely delighted today for three main reasons. First, for my elder son, Kim Taehyung who cracked an amazing deal which is very much advantageous for our business. Secondly, I am proud of my younger son, Kim Jungkook who, with his own hard work and determination, got admission in Seoul Arts School, one of the prestigious arts schools of the world. I am so proud of my children. Cheers to them" the whole erupted in a huge round of applause.

"I wish I also had a father like him, who would acknowledge me and celebrate my success like this. Not throwing such party but at least hugging me and tell me that he is proud of me" Jin thought to himself and sighed. Suran and Jin's mom couldn't come as they are busy with Suran's publishing house. Jin wanted help them but his mother asked to stay with his in-laws. Suddenly Taehyung's father's voice broke Jin's reverie.

"But the celebrations are not over yet. Today we are also celebrating someone's presence among us and that is none other than my son-in-law, Kim seokjin.". all the flashlights focussed on JIn. He was not ready for such attention.

"Can you guys please come up on the stage, Tae and Jin.?" Mr. Kim said. Jin looked at Taehyung, who had an equally shocking expression on his face.

"I am extremely thankful to my son, Taehyung for marrying such a beautiful soul like Jin. Our family is now complete with Jin's presence. Thankyou Jin for becoming a part of our family." He said with teary eyes.

"Thank you, Dad," Jin managed to say.

"Ok now I would like to request Jin to sing a song for us" Mr. Kim said. Jin was about to say no when Taehyung suddenly said yes. Jin was shocked and Taehyung was smirking. He thought that he got a chance to prove to his blinded parents that how Bogum is more suitable for occasions liked this and also for his family.

"O-k-k-k-ay" Jin sluttered. He was nervous, no doubt, but he also wanted to proof Taehyung wrong and make his in-laws proud.

Jin started to sing. But what he sang really astonished everyone, including Mr. Kim Taehyung.
