[ONE SHOT] Goodbye

He hates Goodbyes.

Cold wind was sweeping the dead leaves away. As if clearing it's way for him.

It was another night without her and the weather had the same mood with him. The moon was the only source of light yet its still dim.

He was there again in the same place, the same time. It happened months ago yet the feelings were still new to him.

Kneeling in front of her and caressed her. "I miss you.."

He got no response but he still smiled, bitterly. Placing her favorite flowers down beside her. "I'm sorry..."

The wind blow once again. "I wasn't able to save you.." his voice broke on his last words. He broke down in tears, his hands reached to her printed name on the marble made gravestone, caressing it once again.

It happened months ago yet the feelings were still new to him.

"Will you marry me?"

She couldn't stop herself from tearing up. He proposed to her.

"Yes!" She loudly announced earning a big hug from him sealed with a sweet kiss.

Miya watched as the gold ring slides on her finger perfectly. It was so beautiful.

"I love you" she mumbled, leaning his forehead against her.

"I love you too"

It happened months ago yet the feelings were still new to him.

"No! Please Miya i-"

Her hands dropped on the ground as the surrounding went quiet.

Estes slowly moved his hands away from her causing for his magic healing to stop.

"W-what are you doing?! Why- why did you stop! We need to save her!" Alucard abruptly stood up grabbing the Moon Elf's collar. Estes didn't even flinch on to his actions. Tho, the Moon Elf King did everything to save her.

"Alucard stop!" Tigreal grabbed the frustrated demon away, for he already disrespected the king.

Alucard kneeled beside her again, gently slapping her cheeks, hoping she'll wake up. "Miya please we promised, y-you promised me". Grabbing her hands where the ring was, placing it on his cheeks. His tears rolled down.

For how many years of being though and strong. Crying was never became part of his emotions. His sobs were probably new to his ears perhaps for everyone too for he feel that everyone was looking at him.

"I'm sorry... I did my best, so does Rafaela. But her wound was too deep and the poison that's making it more severe.." Estes lowly explained, while his head was down. It's also hurting him that his most trusted and strongest warrior in his rule land would be gone.

The war between light and darkness is a greatest victory that everyone was able to achieve. But for him, it was nothing.

It happened months ago yet the feelings were still new to him.

Alucard doesn't know when was the last time he slept peacefully. He just woke up from his dream, the place where he can only see her, where he can feel her.

Every night in his dreams. Alucard feels like Miya is within reach but he just can't seem to hold her.

"Alucard?"

He could hear his name being called from a far. He tried opening his eyes but it felt it very heavy like he was tired from his all day training.

"Alucard" the voice was calling in again, echoing like the voice was being carried away by the wind.

"Wake up.."

Alucard groggily opened his eyes. His surrounding was so bright that took him some time to adjust his eyes.

He finally got up while his eyes were scanning his surroundings.

She's here.

"Alucard.." that's her!

He immediately turned around and smiled. He finally saw her again.

"Miya" He ran to her direction welcoming her body with a warm, tight hug.

"I miss you. I really do" he sincerely said. He keeps on kissing her all over her face and scalp.

"Alucard. I don't have much time.."

He looked down to her upon the mention of his name.

"Please do listen to me carefully" Miya reached up her hands to verge on his cheeks.

Alucard seems to be a little confused. Why- what is she rushing for? He's willing to stay here just for her.

"Alucard please take care of yourself okay? Always remember what i always say to you" Her voice was trembling on everything she say. Miya eventually brake down, word after word.

"What are you talking about? Miya, i can stay forever here with you! I'm not-"

"No, you can't. You have to live Al. Someone is always waiting for you. Please don't let this reason to be end of your life. Alucard this is my only chance to say goodbye to you"

Alucard was in the verge of crying. He watched as her fingers move to her other hand, he saw how she slowly remove the ring off her finger. Miya grabbed his hand placing the ring in his palm before closing it in his fist.

"I love you Alucard. Please continue living, until we meet again"

He glanced back to her but bright light was eating her up and its blinding him. Alucard use his other arm covering his eyes whilst the other searched for her.

"N-no! Miya, please!" He begged but the light was getting stronger until he had no choice but to close his eyes.

"Goodbye. My love" that's the last word he heard from her.

Alucard abruptly woke up from his bed. Bids of sweat was running down to his forehead as his breathing hitched.

"Another dream of her, huh?"

He calmed himself down before sitting up in his bed. Alucard's gaze lands on the pillow beside him, it was always where she always lay and sleep but now she's no longer there, beside him.

He just suddenly feel his tear drop on his curled palm. Just then he remembered the ring.

Slowly, his fist opened. The ring. Her Ring. Was there, right in his palms, where she exactly placed it.

Another tear escaped on his eyes. He slowly reached his lip on her ring, kissing it gently as if she still wear it.

Crying made him look pathetic and weak, that's a part of him that he doesn't want to show to her. He had to remain strong but even the person that build him is now forever gone.
