I walked into school grounds, tired as usual. I thought about acting sick to stay home but I knew when my mom found out I wasn't really sick she'd be furious. I was probably going to be late at the pace I was walking at.

I continued to walk mindlessly to class when I heard the first bell ring.

"Come with me," I heard a voice say as someone grabbed my wrist.

"Hey, what're you-" I started when I looked up at who I was walking with. Terushima. "Where are we going?"

"Out," He said as we continued walking towards the gate. I'm surprised we weren't caught yet.

"Out where? We have school Terushima, we're gonna get caught,"

"Yeah, we're gonna get caught if you keep talking this loud," He scoffed as we turned the corner around one of the buildings. "Shhh!" Terushima whispered as he pulled me inside one of the columns of the building.

My hands were against his chest and one of his hands were curled around my waist. I became flustered quickly. I felt my face and body become hot. He looked around and pointed towards one of the schools security guards getting closer.

Terushima lifted one of his fingers to my lips, signaling me to be quiet. I stared at him as he smirked at me.

"We're gonna make a break for it," He told me as I gripped the strap on my bag tight. I nodded my head.

"One...two...THREE!" He yelled as we started running for the gate. The security guard yelled at us :

"You two! Stop right now! Stop!"

I started laughing as we ran out of the black gate and down the street.

"That was...the craziest thing I've ever done!" I panted, out of breath.

"You've never skipped before?"

"No, I never had anywhere to go or anyone to go with,"  I said sitting on a ledge in front of the river.

"Well, now you do," He responded, sitting next to me. "You know... you're kind of a dumbass,"

"Excuse me?" I said, looking up at him showing me a mischievous smile.

"It's true. Who the hell talks that loud when you're trying to not get caught?"

"Hey, I was still processing what was going on!" I said in defense as I slung my legs over the ledge of the river.

"Yeah sure. Next time if you're that loud I'm leaving your ass at school," Terushima said, taking my backpack off my shoulders.

N-Next time? He planned on skipping with me again? C'mon Y/n, I need to stay confident! Of course he wanted to skip with me again, who wouldn't? Anyways, what is he even doing-?

"What're you doing Terushima?"

"I'm being nice and holding your backpack so you don't have to. You should be thanking me," He responded as I adjusted so he could remove my backpack with ease. I felt his warm hand against my back and tried hard to not get excited.

"Yeah well where are we even going?" I asked as I watched the Koi fish swim underneath us.

"You ask too many questions. We should probably get going though," Terushima said, getting up and extending his hand out to me. I grabbed it as he helped me up. I didn't wanna make things awkward so I let go of it as soon as I got up.

He lead me to the train station and I tried to look at the train times and destination but Terushima quickly put a stop to that.

"You can't look stupid, that ruins the surprise," He said, grabbing my hand and dragging me along with him.

Oh my God. I'm holding Terushima's hand. I'M. HOLDING. TERUSHIMA. YŪJI'S. HAND. Stay calm Y/n. Just try and stay calm.

"Terushima where are we going," I whined as he pulled me inside a train car.

"What don't you understand about the word 'surprise'?" He asked as the doors behind us shut.

We stood up and the train jerked forward. I stumbled and fell against his chest. I looked up at him as he smirked at me,

"You should be more careful next time," He smirked.

"Yeah..." I whispered quickly removing myself from him. I walked over to the window seat and watched us pass the country side. "Backpack,"

Terushima took of my backpack from his back and threw it to me.

"Thanks," I said, taking out my sketchbook and pencils. "Now stay still,"

Terushima was on the opposite side of the train than me so I started to draw him. I started with his face, hair, neck, and body.

"Let me see," He said walking over towards me. I say under my book so he couldn't see it. I wanted a picture of him.

"Nuh-uh. It's just for me," I smirked, as the train car came to a stop. I slipped my sketchbook into my bag and put it back on.

"Follow me," Terushima said as we walked out of the train car and station. He grabbed my hand and led me around a city I'd never been to before. His hands were soft and warm in mine.

We walked for some time when I saw more people roaming the streets and the city became louder. We turned the corner of a small coffee shop when I saw TONS of people and bright colors around the street.

"A... festival?"
