~Y/n POV~

On our way out of the tower, Mikoto invited me to dinner tomorrow night after the academy. (Minato told you of it during the questions.) I of course said yes as a way of thanking her for helping me. As we were walking to my apartment, she told me about herself and her family. She had a husband named Fugaku and two boys. The oldest, Itachi I think is 18, and is in the anbu. Which she told me is a covert operatives of capable ninjas that the hokage dispatched. After telling me she whispered, "don't tell anyone I told you, its secret for a reason". When I asked why she told me this, she said "because I feel like I can trust you." Not that I'm judging her, but how can you trust someone you've just met? And her other son is the same age as me, and is also in the academy.

Right as she finished telling me about her youngest, (Sasuke I think) we arrived at my new apartment. "oh! here we are. And remember, if you ever need something, just come to the Uchiha compound and ill help you with whatever it is you need". She says with a warm smile. With a nod and a quick thank you, I walk into my apartment. Hearing a click signifying the door locked, I glance around. So this is the place I'll be staying? Its actually pretty cozy.

I start to walk around, as to get a layout of were I'll be staying. That is till I find a way home. Hopefully its soon. For the apartment there's a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and a living room. Not bad if I do say so myself. Walking into the bedroom, I glance at the clock, 9:30, huh. Time fly's. I guess tomorrow I'll have to go an get more clothes....suitable for moving around. turning off the lights, and getting under the covers, I start to think. Did I even need to sleep? Since it seems I look more human, but my body is still functioning like an animatronic. At least to some extents.

I'm not tired, even from all that walking today. I feel myself slipping in to unconsciousness. My last thought wondering what awaits me tomorrow.

~the next morning~

When I awoke, it was to my alarm clock. 5:30 it read. Well at least I wont be late for the academy. Hopping out of the bed, I straighten my hair and clothes before deeming myself acceptable. Grabbing my money, I walk out the door. I have almost 3 hours before the academy starts. So I guess I could get what Mikoto told me I would need. Walking down the streets I got quite a few stares. Did I look weird to them? Not that there opinions really matter in the end.

Walking down the road, I stop in front of a store. From the sign, its a ninja store. Walking in, I see a bunch of different things from clothes, to different weapons. Looking at the list Mikoto gave me, I grab a weapon pouch, kunai's, shuriken's, and bandages. Crossing those of the list, there's one left. A new outfit. it was long overdue anyway. Browsing through the clothing, there was one that caught my eye. It was cute. And I really don't want to be here forever, so I grab it. Walking up to the desk, I pay for it, them head back home to get ready. I still have plenty of time before it starts.

Arriving home, I change out of my old clothes and into the new ones. Throwing my hair into a ponytail. I check the clock. 7:30. perfect. Plenty of time to get there. Closing and locking the door, I make my way to the academy. It was a different experience navigating through the streets without seeing. But I could hear. I could hear there heartbeats, there breathing and I could feel the vibrations through the floor.

Before when I was still an animatronic, I could see heat signatures and hear heartbeats. But now, it feels like my senses have dialed to eleven. It would have been way different if I was completely human. I may look more human now, but could I feel pain like them? Bleed like them? breath, eat, anything? I would have too experiment later. I mean I'm not hungry even after not eating for two days. I could sleep but I don't think I have to.

I snap out of my thoughts as I arrive in front of a huge building. Taking a deep breath, I put on my best poker face. (even if my eyes are closed.) Walking up to the woman at the desk, I ask for my classroom. "name?" I tell her. "your room is right down the hall to the right". Thanking her, I head over to my room. Taking another deep breath, I knock on the door. After a couple of seconds a man opens the door. Looking down at me, he gives me a warm smile. "you must be the new student I presume?" I give a nod. I also take the time observe him. He was really tan, had brown hair thrown up in a ponytail, and a dark blue forehead protector. "wait I minute and I will call you in, Ok?" Giving another nod he closes the door.

I could hear all the people inside talking. They weren't exactly quiet. "ok kids quite down". It didn't quiet down. "quiet down, please". It still didn't quiet down. "EVERYBODY SIT AND QUIET DOWN". it almost immediately quieted down. "clearing his through, he started talking. "so we have a new student joining us. I want you be respectful to them." Almost immediately I could hear whispers break out. He cleared his throat and it quieted down again. "you can come in now". I take a moment to calm my ( do I have a heart?) heartbeat before opening the door and stepping into the room.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~that took a lot longer than it should have. Sorry if it seemed rushed. I just didn't have a lot of ideas. (1114 words in this chapter) my goal is to have at least 1000 words every chapter.
