Benjamin's POV:

Seriously, I love this girl, platonically, of course, but she freaks out. Too much, way too much.

Abigail starts to fret about Arabelle's arrival, pacing around the villa like there's no tomorrow.

I don't know who this 'Arabelle' chick is, but Abigail keeps going on and on about how everything needs to 'be perfect for my best friend!'.

What's with girls and being perfect?

Apparently Abigail had this best friend from...wherever she moved from...and wanted to throw her a 'Welcome to Malibu!' party.

Isn't beer enough? All us guys need is some beer, several pizzas and video games. I don't know why Abigail can't just do that.

I finally take a seat with my girlfriend, Elanora. She smiles at me and gladly takes a chilled bottle of beer I snuck in.

She takes a swig before we hear a loud squeal that comes from a place too close for comfort. Abigail doesn't want us drinking until Arafelle or Caramelle, or whatever her name is, gets here.

Elanora and I both know we can't get caught, that is, unless we want an earful from the girl with the loudest scream on planet Earth.

Abigail shrieks again and, with a sigh, I get up along with Elanora who reluctantly sets her beer beside mine. A little annoyed, we go off to save crazy-party-lady from whatever mess she had gotten herself into.

"What do you think she's done this time," Elanora whispers in my ear, grinning snarkily.

"No idea," I whisper back. "Although I bet Ryeun did something."

Eleanora's eyes light up. "Twenty bucks he did something to annoy her."

"Bet. Wait no-" She snorts as I narrow my eyes at her. "I think he did something too!"

"Too late!" Elanora singsongs, practically skipping into the room.

"No need to gloat," I groan.

"A definite need to gloat!" She chirps, placing her hand on the corner of a wall and flinging herself into the next room. "No need for you to be a sore loser!"

"I'm not a-"

"Oh yes you are, don't even try to deny it!" Elanora chastises me.

I huff in exasperation, "Fine."

"Good," Elanora nods approvingly, "Now you just need to shut up so I can hear what Abigail's shrieking about-"

"RYEUN! STOP IT!" We hear her scream.

My eyes widen and Elanora doubles over in laughter. "I WIN!" She yips.

Reluctantly, I pull a twenty dollar bill out from my wallet. "You win," I echo hollowly.
