Steven picked up the gem by the back of her neck with one hand and the other on her lower back. "coming... with you?" she asked, wondering as to where exactly they were going. Steven looked down at her with confusion. "y-yea... you're coming with me." He took off his jacket with one arm so the other could hold her  by her waist for her to not escape. She took notice of this. "y-you're bein kinda.... eh.... touchy there." the pigtailed gem said as she got little flustered, and slightly embarrassed as well.
Steven ignored her. He wasn't paying attention to anything that she was saying, only what she was doing physically. He tied one jacket around sleeve her neck. Tight enough to stay on, but lose enough to keep her from chocking. Not that she could choke anyway, but he didn't want to hurt her.
Not anymore than he already has.
He used the sleeve to drag her by her neck as if she were a puppy he put on a leash to keep as a pet. while she laid on the sand, kicking and screaming for him to take it off, he ignored her.
The small pigtailed jester was non stop yelling and pulling at the knot he made around her neck as if she were a toddler yelling at their father to let them stay at the park because they weren't finished playing at the playground.
Steven wasn't sure if he was hurting her or not, but he heard silence behind him and not much pressure and pulling anymore. The boy got worried, thinking she'd escaped. So he quickly looked back behind himself. Only to see that she was standing up with her head lowered, hugging herself, and seemingly embarrassed. he turned back around and sighed in relief.
Eventually they reached their destination, the beach house. Which is stevens home. Steven walked up to his room to grab his phone and call his dad to tell him what happened and that he needed help. She followed him up there of corse. Not like she had any real choice anyways.
When Steven's father, Greg finally showed up, steven was holding the gem down in his lap. One hand on the curve of her neck which led to her shoulder, the other on her hip. "Steven! I came as fast as.... I... c-could?" When he saw her, she was sitting with the right side of her head on his chest, and her legs laying across his right lag, her lower back was between his legs. It seemed like she was asleep. "Uh- steven-"
He began with confusion and curiosity, but was interrupted. "Dad, This gem came into beach city at least an hour ago with the giant pink uh...in-injector... and attacked us with this thingie..." he moved his left hand that was on the gem's shoulder, and wrapped that same arm around her torso at a fast pace in order to keep her down. He did this in order to get the weapon out of his pocket to show it to his dad. Greg yelped in surprise when he saw the scythe...
"What even is that thing, steven?" The hybrid boy didn't know so that's exactly what he told him. "I'm really not sure. Just looks like a regular gem destabilizer." "Somethin like dat." The pink gem said out of nowhere. "it's called a rejuvenator" she spoke in a fancy tone. Almost in a British accent. "Well, whatever it's called, she hit me with it multiple times and now my powers are all messed up.... look-" he spoke with worry as he tried to show his dad what she did by trying to summon his shield only for it to fail instead. Greg replied to stevens actions with an "oh...". "Well, if it's a rejuvenator, it... rejuvenates?...." Steven said or... asked. He wasn't really sure.
"Um... duh!" The pink colored gem slightly yelled in aggravation.
Suddenly pearl's gem was glowing...
then it floated...
She was about to reform.
The pigtailed gem's eyes widened in horror as she realized what would happen. She immediately tried to jump out of steven's lap and run out or into the other room. She wasn't sure, but she wanted to be anywhere but right there but because of steven holding her back so strongly, it stopped her from doing so.

Steven took notice of this and narrowed his eyebrows down at her. She kept panting and trying to squirm free but it wouldn't budge. Eventually she got up and ran.
It all happened so fast steven barely realized what even happened.
She tripped a little but got to the door. The only issue was that

She didn't know how to freakin open it.

So she just tried to kick it down but before her foot made contact with the wood or glass, Steven wrapped his arms around her body once again and caused her legs and arms to fly up as her backside got pulled into the boy.
Literally less than a second, a beautiful shell was in the air.
"Please identify yourself."
Spoke the light blue clam.
"Uhm-" Greg looked at steven. He still had the gem in his hand. She was still pushing at his arms. Her pigtails kept hitting his face as she tried to wiggle free again. He looked back at it "Greg universe?"
"Greetings! 'Uhm greg universe'! Please state preferred customization options."
"Uh..." he turned to steven again and began to whisper. "What am i supposed to say here?"
"I-I-....I don't know!"
The pigtailed gem stoped squirming. Though she continued panting lightly with ever so slightly widened eyes and really, just a straight face.
'Guess she calmed down' steven thought when he saw her expression. "Default setting selected. Please stand by." The shell disappeared and out came pearl's gem. She finally reformed and pinky had hid behind steven. He got confused but let her do it because he believed there had to be a reason for it. She looked scared and slightly sad. For a second steven thought it was adorable... almost like with peridot, when they first first formally met.
Pearl began singing. "How do you do... my um Greg universe-" the little pink gem couldn't help but giggle at that. Steven seemed to hear it considering he looked behind himself to see her smiling cutely. He furrowed his brows and smiled sheepishly at how cute she seemed when she was happy. He whipped his head back around when he heard pearl continue to sing.
"Thank you for bringing me into... the world........ I am at you eternal service welcome to your new pearl" she looked up at greg and smiled at him.
"Whaaats- GOING ON?!" Steven and Greg yelled at each other, and with each other. "Could her gem be cracked?!" Stevens father yelled out of worry. The pigtailed gem rolled her eyes at that question. Steven walked up to pearl. "She looks fine to me!"
Ruby began to reform as well.
"Ruby! Are- are you ok?!"
"Ah!- who are you?! You're not my assignment!" She yelled angrily. Greg scratched his head in thought with a raised eyebrow. "I could really use an explanation here..."
"Allow me to illuminate!" pearl began to sing again and twirl, causing the pink, unknown gem to hide behind steven again.
Why?
Unknown so far...
"A ruby guard... but just a single one....-" her leg went up and bent so her left foot was on pointe, showing 3 rubies on a screen which was coming from the gem located on her forehead. "-they tend to come in teams of three, or more-" a blue sapphire reformed right after that and... "A precious sapphire! She sees the future, that's who the Ruby's for!" "My sapphire,-" ruby began. "-as my sworn duty and soul purpose, I will protect you with my life."
Sapphire replied with, "I know you with. That's why I predict you won't last more than a day."
"Wha-"
"Come now."
They walked a bit to leave room because
Amethyst reformed.
"Amethyst!" Steven walked towards her with the pigtailed gem's hand in his.
"Hey, amethyst?"
"Hey, amethyst?"
"What?! No, you're amethyst!"
"What?! No, you're amethyst!"
"You must be right!... this is an amethyst!... except an amethyst is big... and strong.... this one is not the best example. Something is clearly wrong!" Pearl shrugged her shoulders as if she were confused and amethyst copied her motions.
"Pearl, don't you recognize them?... don't you recognize me?" Pinky cut in. "No ya dingus! She doesn't. None of 'em do."
there was a silence for a few seconds before steven broke it.
"....why....-" Steven began in a serious tone.
"what?"
"WHY?! AND WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM?!" He grabbed her neck and shook her roughly.
She tried taking his hands off of her but the motion kept her from doing so.
Greg grabbed his hands. "Steven! Stop! You're hurting her!" He let go and was slightly shocked by his own actions.
Pearl, amethyst, ruby and sapphire all watched in surprise. Well, except for sapphire that is.
Because he let go, she had a chance to run.
She tried but Greg caught her. "Nope! Not happening, pigtails."
"Rgh! Let me go! Let me go..."
"No!"
well...

Pearl saw her and continued singing.
"This will be fun!-"
Crap.
"Aren't you the lucky one?!"
Oh god.
"Her cut is perfect-"
She's DEFINITELY talking about me.
"And she's pink... as well~"
I have to leave. NOW!
Spinel began to squirm out of Greg's arms and broke free. She tried to leave once again and once again steven caught her with his hands and by her torso.
Pearl stopped singing when Greg went to help steven by kneeling and holding her legs still.
"No! Let go! Sh-She's gonna..."
"NO!" Steven yelled one anger and frustration.
"Why?!" She yelled back.
Steven finally focused on his surroundings for a moment and realized why she kept trying to leave... 'wait...-' he thought. '-is it?...
No, no... maybe...' "pearl! Keep singing."
"NO!!" Pinky yelled out "DONT SI-MMPHHH!!!!"
She was cut short by Steven covering her mouth with one hand while the other wrapped around her torso.
"She'll bring you endless entertainment, your new best friend, spinel!~"
Spinel suddenly stood still and Steven let go of her mouth. Everyone was quiet.
Steven could even hear his own heartbeat.
"You!" Greg looked up to see steven looking at her.
"Spinel?"
She lest out a long, loud, and exhausted sigh and looked back at him.

"Yes?"
