Ch 2: "The Challenge"

A/N: Hey guys! I'm back after a long time with the first part of Asta and Yuno's main story!

Sorry for making yall wait for so long, I kinda didn't know what to write for their story so I had to re-read the first part of Julius and Marx's main story to understand what in the world my brain was thinking at the time.

Anyways, I delay you no further, enjoy!

Asta's POV:
"You ready Leopold?!" I yelled to him.

We had earlier agreed that we'd practice together, but I also had a feeling that we both just wanted to see who was stronger.

"Ready!" Leopold shouted back.

"Hah!" I pulled out my demon-slayer sword from my grimoire and prepared myself.

"Fire Creation Magic: Spiral Flames!"

Multiple flames shot from his hand directly at me. But I easily dodged them while running towards Leo.

"Haahhh!" I went to land a blow on Leopold when he was suddenly grabbed by what looked like a lion's paw made out of fire.

Wait. I only know one person who uses that spell...

"Brother?" Leopold called as Fugoleon walked slowly over to the both of us, but it sounded more like a question.

"What are you two doing here?" Fugoleon asked calmly, he dispelled the paw holding Leopold.

"Oh hello, we were...training?" I replied.

"In the middle of nowhere?" Fugoleon  asked with an arches eyebrow.

"Um..yes?" I answered once again.

"Hmm. Well I won't stop you, but I'd like to offer my help." Fugoleon said.

"Wha? Really?! Of course you can help!" I beamed, stars in my eyes.

"Alright then, start the rematch!" Fugoleon roared and we went into our original battle positions.

"Start!"

"You. Are a complete idiot." Yuno stated bluntly while looking me in the eye, his cat ear twitching only a little.

We were somehow at the Golden Dawn' s infirmary and Yuno was looking after me.

Apparently Leopold's control of his spell go outa hand and literally almost scorched me to death.

"Just so you know, we were training."

"Oh really? Or is it that you wanted to get yourself killed?" Yuno shot back at me with an arched eyebrow.

"No! Why would I want to do that?!" I replied with another question.

"I don't know, you can be stupid sometimes, and get yourself killed in the process." Yuno replied with a shrug.

"Training is not stupid!" I shot back giving him a slight glare.

He looked at me then chuckled, which quickly changed to a laugh.

"What's so funny?" I asked, a little embarrassed, my dog ears closing downwards.

Was it what I said?

Yuno stopped laughed then smiled at me, "Nothing."

I blushed a little at his smile.

"It's beautiful.." I mumbled.

"Huh? What is?" Yuno asked, clearly hearing what I had mumbled before.

I gave him direct eye contact, "Your smile."

Now it was his turn to blush.

I continued, "I don't think I've seen you smile in a long time."

His blush darken, then he quickly got up from the chair he was sitting on next to me and speed to the door.

"Idiot." I heard him mumbled before he walked out the room, closing the door behind him.

"Hey kid. What are you doing in an infirmary?" Yami literally kicked down the door to the room and gave me a death stare.

"Ca-captain Yami?!" I stuttered at the sight.

The Captain was pissed. Like SERIOUSLY PISSED. He was giving me that death glare that he gave me back when we first met at the Magic Knights Entrance Exam.

And based off of Finral's petrified face, he must have been releasing a ton of mana.

"You interrupted nap time. And I'm not gonna let you off the hook for it, unless you get your ass outa here." Yami stated glaring harder at me.

I popped straight up from the bed and bowed a perfect acute angle in front of the Captain.

"Yessir! I'm so sorry!"

"Shut up kid."

I flinched in fear.

He then grabbed my head and threw me into the portal, Finral and the Captain followed after.

Yuno POV:
That idiot! He just blurts out whatever comes to mind..

I blushed redder than before remembering his words,

"It's beautiful."

"Your smile."

I shook my head violently in an attempt to get rid of the words.

Stop acting like Mimosa when she's around Asta! He's your rivial god dammit!

I sighed and the heard footsteps approaching closer to me.

Huh?

"Hello Yuno."

"Captain Vangence..."

Author: Again! I'm sorry for taking a while to update this! I promise I didn't forget about it! I just was on a writer block a little? Idk.

Anyways, the next chapter will be Fugoleon & Nozel. Then the beautiful first requested special!

So sorry, these requests are probably gonna get completed very slowly.

But the order of the stories are important to the requests (So basically if someone requested two people who are captains then the update for the request will be updated straight after Nozel & Fugoleon's main story update)
