Chapter 4

"Well, well, well if it isn't my lovely ex"

The Girl frowned as she seen her ex after many months of avoiding him "What you do want?" She said staring a hole through him. He chuckled and smiled "Nothing much, was just passing through the town and just happened to see you with this mate right here" Elias felt a little conflicted when he pointed at him so he stepped up "why don't you back off man? Haven't you seen she's moved on?" The guy smirked & started backing up "I suggest you mind your business my friend" he commented walking off in the distance. "What's with that guy?" Elias asked looking at her. She snapped out of her train of thought and started pulling Elias to the car "I'll explain another time". As they got in the car and started to drive back to the hotel she flashed back into her thoughts.

*Flashback*
She thumps off the ground as he hits her right in the center of her nose "Why are you doing this to me?" She softly questions as tears fall down her face and blood comes down her nose. She thought about how life would be without this man controlling her, almost as if he was a tyrant. He always threatened her so she kept his abusiveness the best kept secret, almost every week she came to work with covered up bruises and she knew it wasn't right but she was afraid of her safety so she followed orders. Her thought quickly vanished as he grabbed her and put a towel to her nose "you cover that shit up, wouldn't want me getting caught yeah? "I would love to see you in hell" she told herself but she nodded as reality hit. He chuckled walking back into the hotel bathroom "you're mighty tough"

*Flashback end

She came out of her thoughts with Elias tapping her shoulder "are you okay?" He asked with a worried look on her face. "Y-Yeah can you just get me to the hotel" she replied looking back at the window. Elias frowned as he started to think he did something bad but that wasn't the case at all. As they appeared in front of the hotel Elias opened the door with a smile "I'll call you later then?" She nodded as she hurried to the doors. Elias had another confused look on his face as he got in the car "Did I do something wrong?" He wondered driving off.

As she got to her room tears started to roam down her face as she quietly knocked on the door. She launched into Pamela's arms as she cried "He's back"
Pamela eyes closed as she prepared for the worst.
