"don't panic." mrs. park chuckled. "they were impressed by your song writing skills."

"b-but how did it get to them..?" i asked.

"i let them read it. i'm secretly a worker of their company." she winked. wtf

"yes, and we wanted to know if you sing or not. that is why you're here." the man, who i suppose that is the ceo, said.

"can you sing for us?"

i hesitated. shit, i need the bermuda line but i can't- yall kno why..

"i-i'm sorry.. i can't- i g-get nervous easily.." i nervously bit my lower lip.

"oh.. it's okay. can you just try? just try to be confident." they tried encourage me.

i took a deep breath. yeah, i should try. just for once.

i walked beside mrs. park & faced the ceo & the assistant.

"or you can just turn around and not face us. it's okay, as long as we can hear your voice singing." the ceo smiled.

oop- did NOT expect they're that nice.. if u know whut i exactly mean..

"c-can i?"

"yes."

i did so & turned around from them. so now, i'm basically facing the window.

"do you feel less nervous now?" i nodded.

"you can take your time before starting."

i took another deep breath and tried gaining my confidence.

after i finished singing "in my blood", i huffed out a breath of relief. was dat good

i turned around to face them again & they gave me a round of applause.

"you have talent, sweetie!" mrs. park smiled at me.

i'm glad.. guess singing infront (but not facing them) of people aren't so bad afterall.

"do you want to work with us?" the assist. ceo asked.

i did not know what to answer.

"how about come with us at our company? we want to make sure you'll comfortable around." omg why is the ceo so kind

i nodded, i don't wanna waste someone's kindness.

"meet me tomorrow then, by the school gate." the assist. ceo said. i nodded once again.

"just call me mr. choi by the way, ms. lai zimi." the ceo reached out his hand and i gladly accepted it.

"tomorrow it is, then."
