Lightning on the Ground

Anthony was driving me home from his house late at night. We were about halfway to my house when he turned down his music and said:

"I want to show you something," Anthony told me.

"Okay," I replied. I didn't think much about it because there isn't anything cool to see between my house and his.

When we got to the road that we needed to turn onto to go to my house, he pulled over and turned his car off. We sat in complete darkness.

"Look outside your window."

I looked outside my window and saw all the fireflies. They were very close to the ground and were flickering.

"Wow!" I was gazing at the fireflies in utter amazement by the view. The simplest things, that no one would find cool, amaze me, and make my day.

"I thought you would like to see this. I saw it when I was going back home after dropping you off the other night." He told me.

"I love this. It's amazing." I was in love with the sight before my eyes.

This man knew that I would like the firefly view and I've never mentioned fireflies to him before.
