Think of a word were everyone is accepted. No one get unfair advantages or gets pushed down by other people. Everyone gets along and plays nice. Humanity becomes one big family.
Then come back to the real world which is stuck in a time were people are not accepted for being who they are and are still judged by people who think they have the right.
Why should someone's rights be taken away? Every person on the planet is just another human, what gives others the right to bully, exclude or deny? What makes another person higher than another and think they have the right to discriminate?
Gay, Lesbian and Bi people constantly get picked on for being different. Even just a snigger cuts deep. These people are ridiculed for being attracted to someone. Their rights to marriage denied, yet a 60 year old man and a 20 year old girl can get married even when it’s obvious these people are not in love. People get married for the wrong reasons and society thinks that's fine, but as soon as it is said that a same sex couple is being married many people object.
Love is love. It doesn't matter who you are, what you look like, your culture or sexual preference. Love is beautiful and if people stopped judging and observed, appreciated and acknowledged this then they would see that a homosexual relationship is just as beautiful as a heterosexual one.
As new generations are being born homosexual people and relationships are being more accepted. There will always be one person who objects. The problem is mainly the older generations who have been raised to think people who love their own gender are freaks and 'pansies.' They will not open themselves to change and move with the world as it progresses.
People should be left to be happy. I'm not saying that people should be left alone with no rules or restrictions, and I'm not saying that a man should be allowed to marry a goat; I am saying that two HUMAN BEINGS should be granted the rights to be married.
Bestiality is the most further thing from a homosexual couple. A old man having relations with an animal and two males or females being granted the rights to marry are completely different. Two humans’ verses a dirty old man and animal that has no say in the matter (Sure they wouldn't be too happy if they had a say!)
Many people use the term 'gay' as an offensive word but its beautiful. Being gay is nothing to be ashamed of! I am probably closer to Bi than straight because I am open to love from any gender.
There is no difference to the person. They live life like everyone else, eat the same, shop the same, talk the same. The only difference is that when they go home to their partner, they will be greeting someone of the same sex. What they do in their bedroom is nothing concerning anyone else. If you don’t want to see two people who are in love kiss, hug or just generally show affection then look away.
Why does two men or women holding hands disgust people? A child and mother hold hands, siblings hold hand and friends hold hands as well as many other people. It disgusts these closed off people because it challenges them. They are not willing to move with times and accept that two men or women can love each other and are no different. It worried them because inside they have the feeling that they too could be gay.
Everyone has a different opinion on this topic. If you do not agree, that is up to you. You can stay in your little world were nothing changes and anything outside your little bubble of what you call right is wrong.
This is my opinion. If you agree that people should be treated equally, the world should move on and gay people should be accepted and granted the right to marry, then click the vote button. It will take you two seconds and help spread the word. If you like this speech then fan me.
