Ok so the first move in doing any sort of contortion or gymnastics skill, it is MANDATORY that you warm up. First, wrists. Clasp your hands together and roll them around, also put them on the ground and gently move back and fourth, side, to side. Next, your back. Get in a ball position on your back, and roll up and down five times. Then get in a bridge. In your bridge, make sure your feet are parallel to your hands. Your hands shouldn't be to far or to close to your ears. Now still in the bridge position, rock back and fourth five times. Now, still in your bridge position, lean your shoulders over your hands, not to far that you hurt them, and straighten your back legs. Now get out of the bridge position and roll into your ball, and roll out your back five times. Next, our splits. Ugh, yes I know, the one thing everyone hates(except me!!!) Put your right leg out in front, and go into a lunge. If your knee is over your toe, that is an incorrect position. Next, straighten your right leg, and bow down. Hold this for a minute. Now repeat on the left side.
