Nox can attack from both doors and the hallway.
If you lock him out, you can use the lights to make him go away, He is fooled by the Freddy mask, however, that won't make him leave. Use the Nightmare Freddy mask to scare him, however, this will 100% cause Nyx to become angry.
The only way to get Nox away in your office without scaring him is to give him a stick. However, make sure Nyx is distracted first or not in the room.
The Animatronic deactivation switch does not work on Nox or Nyx. Nox will become more aggressive when everyone else is offline.
