(Third person POV)
Currently, Akiri is sitting in an interrogation room with his hands cuffed. There is a desk with another chair in front of him. He looks to his left and see a one way mirror probably with people behind it observing him. A few moments later the door in front of him opened up to reveal a middle-aged man sharply dressed a black suit, carrying a file. The man approaches him and sat on the chair across of him. He opens the file and began to speak
Interrogator: Let's see here. Akiri Shiranobu, sixteen years old, son of Dr.Akimura Shiranobu.
Akiri: ...
The interrogator read further down the file
Interrogator: Charged with, possession of an unregistered generation 1 IS, illegal purchase of IS components, trespassing a government test site, destruction of government property and engagement in unauthorized armed combat which is in violation of the Alaska Treaty.
Akiri: ...
Interrogator: You're lucky we managed to pull you out from the American government. They weren't too willing to let you go even after what you did.
Akiri once again didn't say anything and stayed silent
Interrogator: Look kid, we reviewed the footage from the other night. We know you meant no harm, you saved the lives of those scientists and stopped the attacking IS from doing any further harm. We obviously couldn't just let you free, but since you are the second male in the world that can pilot an IS, we figured we should work out a deal
Akiri: A deal?
Interrogator: You won't be sent to prison. Instead, you will have to attend the IS Academy so that we can keep you close. We will also have someone from the academy to keep a close eye on you. You are also allowed to keep your IS and will be considered a personal IS
Akiri: I accept, on one condition
Interrogator: Which is?
Akiri: I will be allowed to continue my personal goal to find and eliminate Phantom Task
The interrogator thinks for a moment before answering.
Interrogator: Done. I'm glad we could come to an agreement. We already handled all the paperwork, you just need to be there in two days. Good luck
The man then walked out of the room leaving Akiri alone
Akiri: (thoughts) IS Academy huh?
(2 days later)
(Akiri POV)
I have just arrived in front of the academy. I noticed the white and futuristic architecture of the academy which I was used to because it is the same style as my father's research facilities. I took a deep breath and set foot into the academy.
As I entered the main building, I was approached by a woman that is wearing a black suit.
???: You must be the new male transfer student I was informed about. Akiri Shiranobu, correct?
Akiri: Yes Ma'am
???: Good. My name is Miss Orimura and I'll be your homeroom teacher from now on. Follow me, I'll take you to your class.
I then nodded and followed her through the hallways of the building. As we were walking, I was curious about something and began to speak up
Akiri: Excuse me Miss, a question if you don't mind
Miss Orimura: Go ahead
Akiri: Is my IS here yet?
Miss Orimura: No, it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning
