This is a Mythical Story of the formation of the Pole Star near the Ursa Major, that is, Dhruva Tara near Saptarishi.

I had heard this story a hundred times from my Grand Mother. I'll try my best to portray it well with some of my twists as there will be no infringement of copyright, because a Traditional Literature has no Author.

Once upon a time, on the holy land of India, there was a king named Uttanapada. He was the only son of Manu, the law maker. The king was known for his fair governance in his kingdom.

King Uttanapada had two beautiful wives. One was Suruchi, who was very beloved to him because of her fairness and another was Suniti, to whom he was not so affectionate because she was the daughter of a King whose kingdom was under King Uttanapada's kingdom. Although she was more beautiful than Suruchi, but had no respect in the eyes of her husband.

The two wives gave birth to two baby boys on the same day, same time. Suruchi's son was named as Uttama and Suniti's son was named as Dhruva. The Family Priest, on looking at the two boys said, "Suruchi's son Uttama, will lead to the end of your era King Uttanapada but Suniti's son Dhruva, will be the bellwether of a new era".

Listening to this, an enraged Suruchi shouted on the Priest, "How's that possible? My son looks like a warrior. So, he will be the bellwether of his father's era of course..."

But a patient Suniti, patted on Suruchi's back and said, "Dear, do not worry! These are just predictions, you never know what's going to happen in future". She calmed down but was still enraged in her heart.

Till the boys turned 7 years old, Suruchi always tried to trick to keep Suniti and her son Dhruva away from all the enjoyments of the kingdom. While she used snatch opportunities from others for her son Uttama, Dhruva was conquering by his own masterclass qualities. The two boys had great compatibility which Suruchi hated and tried to put all evil thoughts in Uttama's brain. But the time he used to spend with Dhruva kept him on the good side. On the other hand, even after knowing everything, King Uttanapada, in love of the queen, never used to oppose her.

One day, while the two boys were playing in the courtroom, Uttama ran to the Royal Chair and sat. Seeing this, Dhruva too, ran to the Chair and they started to fight to sit on it. This was seen by their father King Uttanapada, who arrived immediately and sat on the Royal Chair blocking their fight. Then he took both the boys on his lap. This was noticed by Queen Suruchi. She got fire in her blood on seeing Dhruva sitting with her son Uttama on the lap of the King, that too on the Royal Chair.

She ran to the center of the courtroom and shouted, "Oh King! Do you remember, when your Kingdom was facing threats, it was my father who saved you. You were begging in front of him but he wasn't ready to listen to you. It was because of me, he got ready to help you. And after your win, you wanted to marry me. In return of that, I had asked you to grant me three wishes, that I can use anytime of my life. Do you remember that!"

The King got his senses back from the love his sons and said, "Of course Queen Suruchi! But what happened suddenly?"

Suruchi, smiling evilly, as she knew that, whatever she would ask the King would agree, "Dear King, I want to ask those three wishes, now!"

King in a funny face answered, "All the Three at one time!" Then looking at Uttama, he said, "I guess your Mother has turned mad..."
