It was Christmas morning and Montel was excited. He had been waiting for this day for ages and now it had finally come. He sped down the stairs and burst into the living room stuffed with presents from santa.
He tore open all of the presents leaving one at the back. He pulled it forward and squeezed it. It was soft and squishy like a soft pillow but shaped very oddly. He slowly opened the gift and his face lit up with joy. It was the toy dog that he had saw when he went shopping for his cousin's Christmas present. His nametag read Monty just like he remembered. The two of them became best friends, Montel (the boy) taking him everywhere he went. Only the next time he took him out again his life was about to change...
