"You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life."

Albert Camus

"No mom, I can't today! You said that you don't need me today at the bakery! I've plans with Chris tonight." I uttered this to my mom who was across the telephone line.

"But you have to! You remember, this bakery is also yours. Think about it's welfare! I'm sorry because I said it's not your working day today, but it's important! Please! Eleanora got into a car accident and she's in the hospital right now. I know it's her workday right now but like you understood, she can't make it to come here. I need you to come here now. Just, come."  My mom almost yelled at the phone while talking to me.

"Oh my god! Eleanora got into a car acciden-" Beep. My mom ended the call. Just perfect! 'Now she's really upset with me. Great beginning of the day.'

I have no choice to just go and work today instead of her.

"I'll come. See you there" When the message was sent I went to my room to change my clothes to be ready exactly for one o'clock.

"Hey Alex, where's my brown dress? You wore it again? Alex!" I yelled at my room to call my sister.

"Yes I'm already coming! Don't yell so loudly."  She shouted back. Ha, she said to me not to yell so loudly and then she yelled as loudly as I did it. What a genius!

"What did you want?" Boringly, standing by the wall, an elbow basing on a wall she asked with her deign voice.

I turned my back to her and looked for my dress what used to be in my closet but it wasn't there, "Where did you put that dress Alex?"

It was only one thing I heard, "Geez..." and she came back with my dress laying on her hands, "Here, take it."

"Thanks." I took my dress and sent her out.

I changed my jeans and white blouse into brown vintage dress and put my black low shoes on.

'Ready to go... or not.' I found out that I have no makeup on my face. And when I have no makeup, I look like a monster from another planet.'

After I dabbed my face with face powder I put onto my eyes some mascara and did with the eyeliner, but only a little bit.

'Now I am ready.' And I meant it when I said that.  After looking the clock which was on my wall, I took my phone and saw that I have one new unread message.

From Mom:

I'll not be there when you arrive. I have to go to the shop to buy some food for tonight. See you later. Bye xx

Or she's not mad at me. The knowing that mom isn't mad at me lifted my mood up a bit. It's really terrible to fight with your mom. I think you know that feeling.

First thing I opened my door, Alex stood there with her hands crossed, "Where are you going?"

I rolled my eyes, "To the bakery." I did my fake smile, ready to go.

She raised her eyebrows, "You aren't supposted to go today. Yesterday you said that you don't have to go today, today's Eleanor's turn like you uttered.

"Yes, it should be her day today at bakery but she got into a car accident so she's not able to come today, you know." Started to walk out of the hall I heard Alex's steps behind me. "What? Why? How?" she asked, it seemed she was out of the mood after she got these news.
