Julia's POV:
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into a month, and before I knew it, I was leaving for Uni.
I honestly didn't know what the University was called, I just picked it out because it had dorms, and it had so many career opportunities.
"Are you sure you want to go? It's only been a month!" Doniya asked as she reached into the closet where I had put a few articles of clothing, pulling out a blouse and laying it on the bed next to my suitcase.
"I have spent too much time here anyway Dee, I wouldn't want to be a burden." I gave her a reassuring smile as I stuffed my clothes in the suitcase. I only had my clothes here, since my parents refused to ship over my beanbags and stuff. Talk about stubborn.
"You're not a burden Jay!" she huffed, bulling out my prom dress out of the closet.
"You can keep that." I shuddered, thinking about what happened that night. I never even want to re-live any of my school days ever again.
"You sure? It's a pretty dress, I wouldn't want to take it from you." she frowned again.
"It's fine. And quit frowning! You are making me sad." I lightly laughed. Her frown quickly disappeared, but her voice didn't change.
"I'm going to miss you, that's all."
"I'm going to miss you too, but the University isn't that far away, so I could come visit you, or you could come visit me. Besides, I need to get my life started. I need to grow up, be a man!" I laughed.
"Well, if you're hanging out with One Direction any time soon, then you will be..." she cleared her throat. Uh oh.
"Dee. Please don't. Please please please don't s-"
"FOREVER YOUNG! I WANNA BE FOREVER YOUNG!!" she sang, jokingly. Whenever she did that, it was off- key and very squeaky.
"Ugh. Here we go." I rolled my eyes and grinned.
~2 hours later~
"Be good! Don't you be getting into any trouble missy!" I talked like an old lady as I said goodbye to my best friend's sister.
"Get off my lawn! Crazy kids!" she hunched her back and shook her imaginary cane at me. I laughed as I slipped into my car and drove off.
The University was a few hours away, and since there was nothing else to do, I turned on the radio.
Isn't she lovely
Isn't she wonderful
Isn't she precious
Less than one minute old-
No no no! Forget the past!
But wouldn't that mean forgiving Harry?
Zayn's POV
"Niall-"
"Nope"
"But we-"
"Nope"
"NIALL! We have to go!"
"I don't want to leave though!"
"Niall, it's not like Nandos is going out of business."
"Never say that."
I sighed, trying to persuade Niall to leave the restaurant, olbviously not doing so well.
"We have to go pick Harry up from the University though." I sighed.
"Fiiiiiiiine." Niall groaned. He stood up and walked towards the door. I followed him as he walked towards the van.
We quickly climbed into the van and drove off, me being the driver.
"Sooooo... Have you heard from Perrie lately?" Niall asked from the passenger seat. I felt my cheeks heat up. I mean I did fancy Perrie, but there was no possible way I would get to be in a relationship with her. She was too gorgeous to be mine. I needed help to get her.
"Yeah..." I smiled dully. Niall must've noticed because he sighed heavily. "What's wrong Niall?"
"I'm all alone. Liam has Danielle, Louis has El, you have Perrie, and I'm pretty sure Harry has a thing for someone." he spoke glumly. I felt a weight lift off my shoulders, but then another one climb back on. I couldn't bare to see my best mate in pain.
"Don't worry. You'll find someone." I spoke slowly, thinking about how I could find someone for him. Suddenly it hit me. "Niall! What if you go to the Uni with Harry! There are a lot of people there!" I spoke loudly, but not scream. I turned to Niall for a quick second, keeping my eyes on the road.
"I don't know... I mean I can wait..." he spoke quietly.
"You sure Niall? This is a great opportunity for you education too." as those words slipped out of my mouth, the car fell silent.
"okay. I'll do it." he spoke up, after about 2 minutes of silence.
"great! You and Harry can share a dorm!"
"wait- what?"
"we're here!" I interrupted. I quickly jumped out of the car and ran to Niall's door. I swung it open and yanked Niall out of the car. I dragged him to the front of the Uni, where there was an office. I walked in a stood at the front desk.
"may I help you?" a woman about 30 looked up from a stack of papers.
"yes. I want to sign my friend up for this University."
"Name?"
"Niall Horan" I looked over to Niall, who was giving me an uneasy look.
"Age?"
"19"
"Birthday?"
<~~ 30 minutes later ~~>
"Alright, you're all set!" the lady who was at the desk smiled.
"thank you!" I shouted over my shoulder as I walked out of the office with Niall.
"Alright, now all we have to do is find Haz." I mumbled to myself.
"hey guys!" Harry shouted from down the hall, as if it were on cue.
"ready to go?" I asked.
"yup." Harry grinned as he walked towards us. I looked over to Niall, who was looking down the hall, past Harry. I stared in where he was staring and saw nothing. Eh, oh well.
Niall's POV
Oh god no. This couldn't be happening.
"Niall, you've been awfully quiet the whole time. What's wrong?" Zayn asked me as he was driving, concern filling his voice.
"I'm fine. I was just... thinking"
"oh, okay." Zayn smiled.
