"So, how's school sweetie??" mom asked and licked the popsicle we bought earlier

"It was g-great actually." I stuttered while remembering the things that happened at school a week ago

I WAS LYING OBVIOUSLY, I HATE IT HUHUHU 

my life would be peaceful if I didn't say yes.

We are here sitting at a bench in a park here in our neighborhood, chilling and talking about life

"Sweetie, do you have any plans for tomorrow??" Mom asked,

"Uhm nope, I don't have any plans mom," I answered

She looked at me with a smirk and I know where this is gonna be going

"Woah mom we already had tons of bags, and we just entered inside the mall for like how many minutes ago" I chuckled as I tryna carry these bags 

"I had a lot of fun today sweetie, we had our last shopping together months ago" She smiled and patted my on the head

we decided to get coffee and donuts so we entered in a cafe inside the mall. We sat near the glass door so we can get out easily 

cause rememmber, we got tons of bags mwhehehehe jk

"ooooh Y/n, can you please guard there bags for me? I gotta pee honey. I'll be right back" Mom handed me her bags as she ran to the toilet near to the cafe where I am in

I was just scrolling to my phone, waiting for my mother to come back 

I heard the chair infront of me is being pulled I looked at the one who's sitting infront of me and I can't believe my eyes..

HANYU?!

He crossed his arms on the table and leaned infront of me then he winked

My eyes grew as he leaned close to me 

"Hi" he smiled, I got back to my senses and I pushed his face away 

I looked around to see if someone saw us, and it is clear, no one saw us. I looked back at him again

"What are you doing here?" I whispher shouted  and he leaned at his seat as if it's his seat

"I saw you sitting alone here, so I decided to join you" He answered, I leaned close to him 

"FYI, I'm not alone. I am with-" I looked at my right peripheral eye to see my mom getting out of the toilet and is now adjusting little things on her outfit

"Get outta here" I leaned back and Hanyu looked confused rn

"Huh?" He tilted his head and his face explains the total confusion he has right now 

I saw my mom scrolling through her phone and she'll enter here any second right now

"My mom is here-" I didn't finish my sentence, I froze as I saw my mom looking at our direction 

Hanyu was so confused and looked at his back

My mom stood there and froze

The three of us went 

FROZEEEE-

My mom shook her head and went to our direction

Hanyu quickly got up and bowed at me and was about to leave but then my mom got here before he even had one step out of my area

"OOoOh who do we have here?" My mom asked in a slightly different tone, a suspicious or scary kinda tone

Hanyu and I looked at each other and gulped

"I-" Hanyu didn't finish the thing that he was about to say 

"Ummm mom, this is Jia Hanyu, my classmate." My voice is shaking  right now.I'm so nervous that my mom might not trust me anymore

I'm afraid she might get the wrong idea

"Ohhhhh nice to meet you little lad, so what brings you here?" My mom asked once again with that same tone which made Hanyu more frightened lol

He gulped and by his actions right now I can see he has nothing to answer right now

"Nothing??Or you tryna meet up with-" She didn't finish what she is about to say 

"Oh um, he's here mom because we had a last minute uhh, meet up with the group,the deadline is near and the members are supposed to meet up here later, to buy materials" I defended us or else my mom is gonna get a wrong idea this time

Hanyu looked at me with the thank you face and I just shrugged it off

"Oh,I'm sorry hehehehe take a seat hun, I'm gonna order while you two were waiting for your other members" My mom smiled and walked to the counter

and left us dumbfounded~
