Mackenzie's POV
You know that girl? The one who sits alone at a lunch table with a temper? The one who has a nerd of a brother, and a weird last name. Well guess what. That's me, Mackenzie Witwicky.
I know really weird last name, sounds like Spitwicky in a way. But I'm ok with it. I'm ok with my life, I don't really need friends because I have my brother Sam. Sam and I are super close, in fact we wanted to share a car. Ok well not share a car but everything else we wanted to share. Sam's the only one who likes my fiery temper and my knowledge on cars.
But back to reality please. Right now I'm sitting in my desk waiting for Sam to do his presentation on our Grandpa. He started to talk about how he was one of the first men to go into the arctic circle and that he had 41 men come with him. Sam please don't start talking about your eBay page. But he did, he mentioned something about a 'bargain' but I lost interest and our new car. I'm thinking a B-, good job Sammy! The bell rang and I waited for Sam outside getting stares of confusion.
"It's my business people!" I said a little bit to loud. Sam came out with a smile on his dumb little face. "A-!" I smirked and gave him a hug. "We're getting a car!" I said relieved and did a little dance, Sam laughed and we ran out to our Dad. I jumped in the back and Sam in the front. "A-! That still counts right." Dad laughed and started driving. We started to drive and Dad said "I gotta surprise for you." Before starting to slow down in front of a Porsche store. Dad you mean bastard.
"Dad no, no, no, no!" Sam said, so naïve. "I'm just kidding! I'm not getting you a Porsche for your first car." Sam's face fell and I laughed a little bit. "You think that's funny?" "I think your extremely naïve." I said leaning back in my car seat. Dad pulled up into this crappy car store called Bobby Bolivia. "Dad you said you'd get us half a car not half a piece of crap!" Sam said nervously rubbing his hand threw his hair.
"Sam some of these cars could be cool. See that one just needs some paint." I said pointing to a old Honda. "See Mack even says its ok. And she doesn't agree about anything!" Dad said patting my head. Soon a man who want us to call him 'uncle' came by, showed us a couple of cars and his Mammi's (as he called her) middle finger. The mext car we looked at was a old Camaro.
I gasped and opened the hood to see a giant motor, it had a super charger. "Woah. Manny? Where'd this car come from?" Bolivia said and I got in the riders seat and Sam sat in the driver's. "Watcha think Mack?" Sam asked rubbing the steering wheel revealing a symbol. "It still needs paint but, it's perfect. And its gorgeous." I said running my fingertips over the seat. The radio played 'Sexy Back". "Radios apparently busted." I said lowering the volume.
"How much?" Sam asked in interest. "Giving the custom paint-" "It's faded." I interrupted, crossing my arms hearing my bracelets jingle. "But it's custom." "Custom faded?" I said and he scowled. "I'd say 5 grand." Bolivia said and I frowned, it's worth at least 35 hundred. "Nope sorry I'm not paying anything over 4 grand." I frowned and got out of the amazing car. I closed the door and Sam started to complain.
Sam finally got out of the car and Bolivia got into a punch buggy type one. "Ok now this one-" He was interrupted by the Camaro's door slamming into the car. "Mackenzie Witwicky!" Dad said and I raised my hands up in defense. "It wasn't me Dad!" I said and Bolivia glared at me. "Nah it's alright. Ok so over here-" He was interrupted by a ear splitting sound, and all of the car windows shattering. A piece cut my arm leaving a giant gash. The pain was insufferable, but we needed the car first.
"4 grand!" Bolivia said and I finally cried out. "Mackenzie!" Sam said, and I weakly smiled. "I'm fine..." I said before passing out.
I woke up in a bussing car with a bandaged arm. "Ow." I said rubbing it. Come on Mackenzie you work in the military. I thought, and got up. "You ok Mack?" Sam said and I stretched, I observed my surroundings seeing that we're in our Camaro. "At least we got the car." I said rubbing the seat again. My seat started to vibrate, awesome. "Did you get cut Sam?" I asked and the radio played a sad song. "Nah, but you didn't answer my question are you ok?" I smiled and nodded even though the world was spinning.
We arrived at home and I walked inside dizzily. "Mackenzie! There's my precious little girl." Mom said when I entered the room. "Mom-air-please!" I said gasping for air when she let me go. I went into my room collapsing into my bed, soon falling asleep.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Mom! Dad! Hurry somebody's stealing the car!" Sam yelled waking me up from my dream about motorcycles. I shot up from my bed and bolted downstairs. "Sam?!" I said, and he ran out the door. I got on my bike and followed him on his, adrenaline was rushing through me. The car went into a junkyard, I put down the bike and ran over to Sam."Sam!" I said, and crouched next to him. He pointed to a giant yellow robot with black racing stripes- wait. No, no, no! Our car?! Sam pulled out his phone, and started rambling things. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I answered the phone to hear a man I thought was dead. "Will?" I asked hope stung my heart. "Mackenzie! Your alive thank god!" He said I heard a bomb go off. "Is there a war going on over there Will?" I said calmly and quietly.
"There's this thing- argh- it's attacking us! And it just won't die! We need you here and a couple of planes!" He coughed into the phone. "I'm on it Will I'll be there soon!" I said before leaving Sam and our car, my legs were moving so fast that I couldn't even feel them and adrenaline is the only thing keeping me going.
