"Let me help you man" I said lifting him up and helping him over to the couch. He sat down and let out a groan. "Fuck this hurts bro" he said. I chuckled. "That's because you got shot retard. Twice." He looked at me and rolled his eyes.
"Anyway. Nathan cheated in her with her bestfriend hence the break up. But he would hit her and punch her and shove her into the wall. Then tell her he was sorry and that he loved her and she would believe him and forgive him. When I found out he abused her I went mad and beat the shit out of him. She told me off obviously but after that and then mom. She couldn't handle it. She went to dad and joined the mafia." He said and then sighed.
"I'm an idiot. That probably brought back shit memories of her past." He said his voice shaky as if he was about to cry.
I looked at him and felt really bad. He never meant to hurt her. But that shit must have been horrible for her.
"Hey Josh. It's ok she will be back soon she just needs some time to herself. She will come around" I said reassuring him a bit.
"Thanks man"he said. "No problem bro why don't we like watch a film or something" I said and turned on Netflix. "Yeah sure man what do u wanna watch" he asked whilst I scrolled through.
"Would you rather?" I asked looking at him. "Sure" I turned on the film and we started watching it.
