I was the invisible one
You were in geography
having those petty arguments with the tutor
While i sat there smiling
my mind taking snapshots of the perfect you
You had a girlfriend
But i wasn't even your friend
I was hurting
as you both were dating
It seemed cliche
but i never felt like that before
I wanted more
but ended up feeling sore
You were listening to Black Eyed Peas
Feeling so at ease
I was listening to Taylor Swift
Feeling my heart drift
You never knew
That I liked you
But i knew
That you liked her
I thought it was the end
But never knew it was the start of something new...
