A hospital is a place where hope is born and perishes.

Geno hated this place. He spent most of his short life in the hospital. During this time, he managed to see a lot: despair, fear, bitterness ... indifference. He happened to hear the howling of sirens, the cries of doctors, sobs and pleas for salvation, a desperate cry for the death of a loved one.

Yes, Geno hated the hospital. But despite this, he was used to this place. For too long he was here, so much so that visiting the hospital became a routine. He no longer felt fear, just knew that it was necessary. However, now it was different. The realization that his brother was in the walls of this building was terrifying.

Together with Fresh, he sat in the waiting room. As if in a trance, Geno looked at one point and perked up when he noticed his mother.

CQ slowly walked toward them, and head scrolling through the dialogue that had just happened with the police officer.

"- Your son was lucky to stay alive."

These words hit her hard. Without that, the strong concern about the Error has increased several times.

"- Please call us if he remembers anything. Your son is currently the only witness and victim."

It seemed that all her worst fears were embodied in reality. The only hope for a successful outcome slipped away with every moment.

CQ returned to her sons completely depressed, but still was able to find a little strength to encourage them ....

- Is the Error ok? - Geno looked hopefully at his mother.

- I found out his room number, let's go.

CQ took the children by the hand and led them. At the door of the ward they were met by a doctor.

- Crayon Queen? - The doctor carefully looked at the woman.

- Yes.

- Let's go inside, there we will discuss everything.

CQ nodded, then looked at her sons.

- Wait here, Fresh, if Geno gets sick, call me.

- Good mom.

Giving a faint smile, she left the children in the hallway and entered the room.

CQ assumed different things, but did not expect to see this. Her son ... looked like a broken doll. The longer she looked at him, the more she realized how bad everything was. A damaged skull as well as the right eye socket, chest, almost completely under the bandages. She was afraid to think about the severity of the grass. And most importantly, the hands ... they simply did not exist .... because of this, the magic IV was attached to the sternum.

CQ wept bitterly. Of the last forces, holding back a sob, she approached the Error. He was lying on his back, mouth slightly open, and seemed to be just sleeping. CQ neatly sat on a chair. The next few minutes, silence reigned in the room.

- I ... I couldn't imagine ... - CQ broke the silence. - ... that everything ... is so bad ... hoped that the problems were caused by a reboot ...

- No one is ready for this, - The doctor said softly, - especially the mother. However, despite the deplorable appearance, everything is not so bad. The most important thing is that the soul is in order, there is a slight depletion, but with proper treatment, the bones will quickly heal and he will recover soon.

- And hands? ...

- It's harder here. - The doctor sighed. - If they were found, we could heal the bones, but ...

- I understand ... nothing more can be done?

- Hand prostheses, but you must understand that they are not cheap, in addition, at the moment we can't perform the operation, he is too weak, the boy may simply not survive.

CQ did not answer anything. With a trembling hand, she gently stroked the skull of Error. It seemed that one wrong move, and he, like a porcelain doll, would break into pieces.

- Will he wake up? ... - CQ asked warily.

- Yes, give the boy time, he needs to gain strength.

- Thank. - Only could answer CQ. After sitting a little longer with the Error, she went out into the corridor. At the door, Geno waited while Fresh was sleeping peacefully on the couch. - Geno ...

- Please, mom, I should see him, at least for a couple of minutes, I just .... I should ... I ... - Geno began to mutter.

CQ was not found that answered him, she knew that she would regret it, but still let him inside. As expected, he was not ready for this. From the shock Geno did not even notice how he began to cry. CQ hugged him, thus preventing from seeing the Error state. When Geno stepped back from the shock, they were already walking along the hospital corridor. Nearby was a sleepy Fresh, while the CQ carried Geno.

- Error...

- He will be fine; he needs to rest, just like the two of you. I completely lost track of time ... - CQ sighed, leaving the hospital.

It was night. They got into cars and drove home.
