Percy Jackson Never Coming Back

The New Kid

Percy's POV
I was coming back from a quest for Apollo, when I saw a kid about my age with scratches hear and there but nothing major with brown hair and brown eyes running toward the border being chased by a group of hellhounds, cyclopes, and a Dragon . I ran over and told him to run past the pine tree ( Thalia's pine) then I uncapped Riptide and started fighting the monsters. A hellhound jumped at me while a Cyclopes tried to grab my neck, so I slid down baseball style with riptide straight up and cut the hound and half and that got me a shower in monster dust. I jumped up quickly and spun around and decapitated the Cyclopes. I then proceeded to fight through the hellhounds and Cyclopes until there was only the dragon left. While I was distracted with the other monsters I got backed into a tree. It started breathing fire so I did the reasonable thing, I jumped. The bad thing was I could only go up or down and the dragon was to big to jump over so I rolled underneath it and stabbed its foot. That only made it mad and I crawled out from underneath it and ran clear of its stamping feet. It bit at me but it got a hold of Riptide and it threw it up into the air, since I was holding Riptide I went up to and landed on its back barley missing one of the spikes on its neck. It started to climb up the spikes slowly because the dragon was jumping around Im not sure why but this one didn't have wings.( is that right or do all dragons have wings, I don't know so I just winged it 😛)
After getting tossed around and getting a pretty bad cut on my side I made it to the head and stabbed it, the bad thing is it was a pretty big dragon and when it turned to dust I was left and the air and fell. I hit the ground on my bad side. I got up groaning, and looked around for the kid. He was behind Thalia's pine and was shaking. I said " Hey kid it's alright now, you can come out." He stood up cautiously. " What's your name" I asked. " J-J-Jack C-Carson" he stuttered nervously. " You don't have to be scarred, come on let's get you to Chiron." I said and started walking. He slowly followed behind me. I walked up the stairs on the Big Houses porch and knocked. Chiron answered in his wheelchair form. " Hello Percy, what happened you look pretty beat up?" He asked me. "Well I-" but was cut off by Jack. " He came across me at that pine tree while I was fighting an army and he got hurt and I defended him from a dragon without a weapon and he refused to give me his so I had to take it." Chiron looked at me sternly " Is this true Percy?" "No!" I defended but he didn't seem to believe me. He said "Never mind Percy, I'll show him around myself." "But I-" I started to say but they were already gone and I could hear Jack telling him about his fight that. I walked away sad that Chiron didn't believe me.
