"And we will soon fall into old habits with the same undying love that was once a small flame." - Yuta Addo

when lila daniels was told her father was getting remarried and they were moving to california, she wasn't the least bit excited but for some reason she didn't protest. maybe it was the sudden loss of her mother that made her not care for things anymore; or the fact that it was so easy for her father to move on and marry again. it didn't really matter. all that mattered was she was moving to california and she was unaware of what was ahead of her.

neal spencer was parentless. not because of some tragic accident but because his father was oblivious to his existence and his mother didn't even bother to hold him even once before giving him away. and for awhile it didn't matter. he was loved and cherished by his foster family. but nobody can fill the shells of your parents.

it wasn't until lila walked into middlegrove high that neal felt something he never had because. the way she spoke, the way she argued, all of it fascinated him. even though he annoyed the crap out of her something made her curious about him. he was mysterious. he was distraction and she needed it. or him.
