Lucy's POV
I had left the guild early yesterday and Scarlet told me I could have an apartment room at fairy hills, the guilds girl dormatory. Well I got one and painted it to look like the sky at night. Now I was heading to the guild. I was excited to talk to Gajeel. He had fixed my braces at the guild while we were talking yesterday and they worked better than they did before. I walk into he guild and smile. I spot Gajeel sitting alone and head over. "Hi gajeel!" I say happily as I sit down. "Hey lucy." He says with a hint of happiness. "Someone happy to see me?" I tease. His face turns red and he turns his head away. "N-No!" He stutters. I giggle. "Okay okay~!" I say giggling. I was giggling at Gajeel's embarrassed face when I got an idea. I stand up and slam my hands on the table and lean towards him. He stares at shocked. "Let's go on a mission together!" I say and smile. "Sure. You can go pick if you want." He says. "Nope! You pick. I want my first mission to be a surprise. I'll go tell bixlow and the others I'm leaving." I say and stand up. He nods and he goes to the s-class board upstairs. I walk upstairs and over to my team. "Hey guys." I greet. "Hey lucy! Why don't you sit down?" Bixlow says. "Ah..I can't me and gajeel are gonna go on a mission! I just came up to tell you guys before we left." I say smiling. "What?!" They all scream. "I thought we were your team!" They yell. I look at them shocked. "You are my team. We just decided to take a mission together to test each others strengths and get to know each other better." I say casually. Laxus wriggles his eyebrows at bixlow and bixlow's face goes dark. "No." Bixlow says to me. "No?" I ask shocked. "You're not going anywhere." He says lowly. A memory of a tower of heaven guards flashes in my mind.
Flash back
"I'll get out of here!! You're all horrible!" I scream from inside the cell. "You're not going anywhere." He says lowly. He starts beating me.
Flash back over.
I look at bixlow scared and shocked. "Bixlow..." I whisper and run out. As I exited the guild I slide to my knees. I hear Gajeel run out. "Lucy!? What happened?" He asks holding my shoulders that were shaking. "B-Bixlow....he...he scared me...he had this look to his face that.." I choke out about to cry. I look up to gajeel and he angrily looks at the guild doors. The guild doors burst open and Laxus and Bixlow come running out. I start shaking again and backing away as bixlow gets closer. Gajeel covers me. "Bixlow. Stay away you scared her. That's rude man. That's your sister." Gajeel grumbles angrily. Laxus comes over and I look at him with tears in my eyes. "Lucy? Its okay..how'd he scare you?" He asks kneeling next to me. "He...he looked like...the tower of heaven guards...the ones who used..to..to beat me.." I choke out crying. Gajeel hugs me.
Bixlow's POV
I was shocked. I had no idea that happened to her. "I'm so sorry lucy..please...forgive me." I say hurt. Hurt that I made her cry. I just didn't want my little sister to grow up...so soon after I got her back. She sniffles and nods looking up at me. I smile and walk to her. I kneel down and hug her. "I'm truly sorry I didn't mean to scare you." I whisper. She hugs me back. We break apart. "I'm going on the mission with gajeel.." She says nervously. I nod and smile. "Go ahead." I say and me and laxus walk back into the guild. "Dude. What was that all about anyway. You got so serious." Laxus asks.I just wave him off.
Normal POV
As lucy and Gajeel head off on their first mission together. Will love bloom between the two while their gone? If so, how will bixlow handle his little sister growing up? Find out in the next chapter!
