Part 1 :
Ron was walking next to Hermione. He was tired from all the chaos that followed the ceremony but he would not give up till Harry and Ginny were safe and sound. He tried to be as silent as possible as he walked. The woods were still dark but he knew it would not be long until the sun came up. He saw no light, no one and he heard no sound. Hermione whispered "Maybe they disapparated while everyone one was panicking." Ron replied "Could be but I don't know. I have the feeling that they're trying to make a point or something". Both of them were sure there were more than one attacker as it would be impossible to pull this off alone. Suddenly, Ron heard a voice in the distance and both of them were silent.
He was sure of himself, he had heard "Avada Kedavra". His heart was racing like crazy. He was paralyzed for a second, but he then started running towards the voice.

Part 2 :
Brutus Malfoy was gloating. He had finally achieved his goal. All these years of waiting, making a plan and training had not been for nothing. He thought back to the 20 years of perfecting his animagus, to the discovery of Wormtail's survival, and mostly to his master. Yes the Dark lord would be quite proud of him now.
It was now time to end his mission and to finally kill the boy who lived. He thought it would be best to kill the girl in the first place. But as he was raising his wand, he heard the sound of a footstep. The sound was very discreet, so he came to the conclusion that some one was watching, ready to attack. Wormtail had heard the sound as well. Brutus could see in his eyes that he wanted to flee. As Pettigrew started to transform into a rat, Brutus pointed his wand at him and shouted "Avada Kedavra". Pettigrew fell on the ground, half man half rat.
He had known the bastard would betray him at some point but he hoped it would not be this early.
He remembered that someone was watching him so he took Ginny as a hostage, placing the tip of his wand on her throat. He then threatened "If you do not come out of your hiding spot, the girl dies."
He was right, someone was indeed hidden behind a tree. But, it was simply a cat. He released Ginny of his grip and sighed. He was truly becoming paranoid.
