Error x Ink x Nightmare

Ink's POV

I was already awake, I was just waiting for everybody else to sleep, I have no soul so I can't sleep, but it's fine to pretend.

I slowly got up from Nightmare tentacle and made sure he didn't wake up

I walked out of the room carefully, to not disturb anybody's slumber

I looked at the sleeping Nightmare and Error and smiled, I closed the door gently

Ink's mind

"Nightmare is an early-bird so he'll wake up in a couple of hours." I thought to myself.

I walked to the balcony and laid my upper half on the railing of the balcony.

I was looking at the faint stars, there barely was any from the amount of dark clouds trying to cover them. Nothing like Outertale.

"I knew I'd find you here." Nightmare said normally but quietly.

"Oh! Uh Nightmare! I'm sorry did I wake you?" I said

"Yup, my tentacles can sense when something leaves." He said as he walked towards the balcony with me

"So how did you sneak up on me? I couldn't even sense you coming" I said to him

"It's much easier than you think it is, I just teleported here, and I disabled my aura so nobody gets nightmares while their sleeping, well not the ones around me." He said calmly

I smiled

"So what's wrong?" He said gently

I froze up

"Huh?! How did you-"

"Ink, I know when something is bothering you because your negativity spills when that happens. I also know because you usually come here when you need to think." He said calmly

"Am I THAT obvious??" I said nervously

"Mhmm." He hummed

"Alright, fine, you caught me. Something has been bothering me.." I said in defeat while turning back to the balcony view

"So back to my previous question, what's wrong?"

"I just. Don't know what to do anymore. Should I be befriending Error or attacking him? Should I even be helping him or not? He seems like the monster that would never hurt anything but then when he is doing his job he just. Attacks..everybody. Without explaining." I said in a bit of a stressed voice

"Everybody has their reasons. Error just doesn't explain his to others, but that's how it has always been with him. Nobody knows why he doesn't destroy Outertale but that's fine because it's not like we can pry the answers right out of him." He said in a comforting voice

"I mean everybody was pretty shocked to learn that he doesn't need to eat when he first joined the team. But somethings are just left out, no matter how hard we try. But you should know what to do. The answer will find itself, sooner or later." I calmed down
