It has now been a month since the incident and 2 months after Luna's passing. My foot is mostly healed, I don't need the crutches anymore. It is currently 5:45 pm, I am finishing up musical practice. I am getting my bag together as I hear...

"Hello Ms. George, may I speak to you for a moment?"  Mr. Henderson said

"Hello Mr. Henderson, and sure."

"At today's practice, you did terrific. Especially with your sad solo. Anyways, an old friend of mine was watching today and saw your amazing talent. She would like to talk to you, would you be fine with that?"

"yes sir!"

"Great, she will be here in a minute, let me get her from her seat."

I wonder who she is? A minute later I hear, "Hello! Are you Aria?" It was a middle aged woman

"Yes" I shook her hand

"Nice to meet you, I am Jenifer Wright. I am the owner of The Hideaway Cafe. I am not sure if you heard of us, we are downtown. Every Friday and Saturday evening we have an event that people come to watch a performance, dance, drink some coffee, socialize, and sometimes we have games. Like the last one on the dance floor gets a $50 gift card or sometimes special ones for singles, elders, families, and more. Our main performer retired. We want to find a younger performer that can possibly stay longer and show others young talent. I have been asking some old friends from school that are now music teachers or know teens who sing and perform that would be good for the job. My dear old friend, your teacher, Mr. Henderson first read my text and told me about you. I asked if I can come and he said to come today because you will be here performing an amazing solo. Ms. George, If you would like the job is yours. It pays well, the hours are good, plus if you want we can give you some hours as a waitress in the week. Here is my number, please contact me when you have your answer and please do take time to think if you need it. Thank you for your time."

"Mrs. Wright, I am honored. I would love to, but I need to check my schedule before I accept this offer. I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you so much for this opportunity!" We shook hands and she took off. If I can get a job now and work every week as the performer and waitress. If I am pregnant, it can give me a boost to help my child, if I keep him or her. She did say it pays well for a high school job. I can always go there and talk to her about the pay and hours.

"Thank you Mr. Henderson for telling her about me. I appreciate it so much, I do have to get going though. See you tomorrow!"

"See you!"

As I am driving home I think about the maybe pregnancy and job offer:

If I keep the baby will my parents let me live there or will I be kicked out? If I abort it will I regret it? Aborting isn't an option it is cruel what the hell Aria why did you think that! If I put him or her up for adoption will I want to meet him or her later on? What will give him or her the best life? A family that can support him or her with money that will love the baby? Or will the baby think its birth mom did't love him or her? I do not want to seem like the bad guy. If I keep the baby will he or she be able to have the best life?

The job, will I get too tired later in the pregnancy, if i am pregnant? Does it collide with my school, musical, or therapy schedule? All of a sudden I felt nauseous. I am almost home, two more minutes.

I pulled up to my house and ran to the bathroom. I started puking. Uh oh. I took some medicine and laid down. I rested. Luckily my family didn't see or hear me.

"Hey Aria? Can I come in?"

It was Adam. "Yeah."

"How have you been doing lately? The past week you have been a little, um  distant?"
