It was about night time

You were sitting on the couch trying to find something good to watch on t.v

You gave up and turned off the t.v

Just as you turned off the t.v mao mao walked through the door

His fur was all messy

Naturally you said

"You ok mao?"

"I'm totaaaally fineeee" he replied

He sat down next to you on the couch, that's when you smelled the stench of catnip on his fur

"D-did you have catnip?..." you said

"N-nooooo?" He obviously said lying. "Yup, you had catnip" you said

"Oook, I had a liiitle bit" he said "more like alot-" you were interrupted by mao mao putting his head on your shoulder. "Um, mao?..." that's when he began to rub his face into your shoulder 

(Y/n) pov

'OK, WHAT THE HELL' I mentally said to myself

'I hope it's just the catnip that's making him do this...'

That's when mao mao began purring

"Um, mao? Your...your purring..." you said

"Yourrrr fur is sooo softtt" he kind of ignored what you said

At this point you were uncomfortable, first he smells like catnip and second he's making you very uncomfortable by doing this

he hugged you But then he started to fall asleep

"Um....mao...."

(Y/n) pov

'Welp...looks like I can't move...what am I gonna do with him' I mentally said 

I hugged him back gently to not wake him up, I tried to ignore that he smelled like catnip

Eventually you felled asleep aswell

Morning

Surprisingly you woke up before mao mao (a/n I'm starting to think that mao mao is not even a word anymore by how many times I've said it-) you guess it was because of the catnip 

Anyways, you were still hugging him but then you broke out of the hug causing him to wake up

"Huh...wha?- (Y/n)?"  He said "why...do I smell like catnip-...oh...um" he realised that he was still hugging you and quickly released from the hug with a slight blush on his face 

"What....did...i...um...do?..." he asked

"Well, you put your head on my shoulder and started rubbing your face in my fur and started purring....then you said my fur was soft and hugged me and started falling asleep" you explained

(Literally summed up the whole story)

Mao mao looked so embarrassed by what you said

"Well, I mean your fur is soft..." he muttred to himself but it was loud enough that you heard it

"....you really think my fur is soft?" You said with your eyes glittering in the light

"I-I mean...yea" he said (enter adorabat and badgerclops shipping it uwu)

Mao mao's pov

'Dang, why does she have to be so cute?!' I mentally said (enter me running out of ideas)

Then...she hugged me?

Third person pov

You hugged mao mao

"Thanks...I guess" you actually had no idea what you were doing

Surprisingly he hugged back

"Where did you even get catnip from?"
