When school got out, Kalei called a meeting at her house. That's one great thing, they all live only a couple blocks away from each other, making meetings easy.

But at Jaxson's house, trouble was brewing as he tried to get out the door for Kalei's house, 4 blocks away.

He texted Hannah to make sure she was coming, and then went downstairs to grab a snack while he waited for a reply.

His phone went off when he was about to bite into a PB&J sandwich. *BEEP*

Yeah im comin Do u have any idea y were meeting??

He shook his head in real life and then replied

Smh

He turned his phone off and quickly finished his sandwich. Jaxson was just about to open the door when his mom shouted to him from upstairs.

"Jaxson! If you're still going to Kalei's house, can you bring Sam with you? Taylor and I are going to the hair salon!"

Jaxson sighed, but replied "Fine. I'll try to be back by 5:00." Sam, his little brother ran downstairs and caught up with him, laughing.

"Shut up." Jaxson mumbled as he opened the door and walked outside.

As they walked, Sam laughed his annoying laugh and skipped along.

Finally they reached Kalei's front door and Jaxson saw the rest of the group already there, waiting for him.

He let himself in and apologized for being late. Then they all went down into the basement and walked to the living room in the basement, which they call their meeting area at #9's house.

"When I say your number, you say here. Okay?" Kalei said, starting the meeting. Everyone nodded their heads in understanding.

"1" "Ashley is Here!"
"2" "here!"
"3" "Here."
"4" "here!!!!"
"5" "here!"
"6" "here."
"7" "Here!"
"8" Here."
"9 Is Here and 10."
"Here!"
"And 11!" Sam shouted, crashing their formality.
"Why thank you, Sam." Clementine said, as she had always been good with kids in a motherly style.

"So, first we need to talk about Mark." Kalei started, earning a groan from about each and every one of the best friends. "We need to plan an attack on him." And this time everyone cheered.

But not for long.

"You know that old pizzeria place? Like Freddy Bears or something?" Hannah suggested. "Freddy Fazbear's, yeah." "How about we send Mark a 'coupon' and then when he gets there, prank him or something!"

Jaxson and Ashley nodded while Clementine found a flaw. "What kind of prank would it be? Anything I can think of would probably get us banned."

Being a random kid, Sam just came out and said "HI!" In the middle of their conversation.

"Shut up Sam!" Jaxson yelled, once again.

"I'll take him upstairs. Maybe your brothers have some toys he could play with." Clementine told
Kalei.

"Thank you." Kalei and Jaxson both said in unison.
