Hinata stood in the locker room after practice, getting ready to leave and thinking of Kageyama while unconsciously chewing on the inside of his mouth. 'Why was he so nice to me today..' Hinata thought, blushing. As he slung his bag over his shoulder, Hinata felt the taste of blood in his mouth. "Crap!" He exclaimed, rushing over to the sink to rinse his mouth out. Hinata hated the taste of blood.

Kageyama entered the locker room silently, thinking about what Kiyoko had told him before practice. 'Kageyama, if you want Hinata to be your boyfriend, you should try being nicer to him once in a while,' she'd said with a sly smile before walking away, leaving Kageyama flustered in the middle of the gym. Suddenly, Kageyama realized that Hinata was in the locker room. "What happened to you?" He said, noticing the blood in the sink. Hinata jumped, hitting his head on the faucet.

"Ow!" Hinata yelled, turning around to face Kageyama. His hand instinctively flew up to his now throbbing head. "It's nothing!" he said defensively, while Kageyama stared him down. In the same moment, they seemed to become more aware of each other, both turning beet red.

Kageyama closed the gap between them with a few steps, reaching his hand out to touch Hinata's bloody mouth before thinking better of it, yanking his hand to the side and looking away.

"What do you want?" Hinata asked, attempting to sound annoyed.

"Well, I came to get my stuff," Kageyama murmured, "but now I'm going to help you clean yourself up, idiot." He tried to keep himself from turning red again.

"But wouldn't the team think it's weird that you're helping me-" Hinata started before Kageyama cut him off.

"We're the last ones here, dumbass." Kageyama said in an attempt to sound nonchalant.

"I can-" Kageyama interrupted Hinata and pushed him down onto a bench near the sink and grabbed paper towels, wiping his face. After Kageyama was done, he took a step back and looked at Hinata as if he were judging his own artwork.

"Your jacket is all wet." Kageyama said to Hinata, trying to push back the intrusive thoughts he was having about the smaller boy. Kageyama stepped towards him again, swiftly taking Hinata's jacket off.

"I'm going to be colddd," Hinata pouted, giving the other boy puppy dog eyes.

'Damn it. He's too cute.' Kageyama thought, his face turning pink yet again. Kageyama removed his jacket, draping it over Hinata's shoulders. "Make sure to wash yours and bring me mine tomorrow, I want it back." Kageyama said as flatly as he could manage.

"O-okay," Hinata stuttered, standing up and grabbing his stuff before heading for the door.

"Hey, uhm, Hinata?" Kageyama muttered, blushing madly.

"Yea, Kageyama?" Hinata said, raising his eyebrows. Kageyama, too nervous to explain his feelings to the other boy, took a big step towards Hinata, snaking his hand around the other boys waist and pulling him into a soft kiss. A few seconds later, Hinata pulled away. "You said we were the only ones here right?" He asked, his voice surprisingly low and husky.

"Y-yes." Kageyama whispered, confused by the look in the other boys eye. "Why?"

"Let's just say I've wanted you to do that for a long time," Hinata said confidently before jumping into Kageyama's arms and pulling their mouths together, his arms closing around the back of Kageyama's neck.

An hour later, the two boys walked out of the gym holding hands. Kageyama quickly locked the door before pulling Hinata into one last, brief yet aggressive kiss. "Goodnight, Shoyo." Kageyama said quietly before turning around and walking away.

"G-goodnight Kageyama," Hinata stuttered quietly, pulling up the sleeves of Kageyama's jacket that he was wearing again and fidgeting with his hands.

"Call me Tobio," Kageyama said without turning around, "and feel free to keep the jacket for a bit longer." Hinata felt his cheeks turn beet red. He stood there by the gym doors for a few minutes before he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. When he reached in, he found a slip of paper with Kageyama's name and a phone number on it. 'That little- How did he?? ' Hinata thought, gazing off into the darkness where Kageyama had disappeared. He checked his phone. It was his mom.

"Where are you???" She had messaged him.

'Oh crap!' He thought before replying, "Sorry Mom! Practiced extra with Kageyama and didn't check the time!! On my way now!" Hinata took off in the opposite direction Kageyama went, running home as fast as he could. "I'm so sorry Mom!" Hinata exclaimed when he got home, breathless.

"It's okay, Hinata, I know you're a good kid, just be more aware of the clock next time." She said before ruffling his hair and sending him to take a shower and go to bed.

'Imagine if she knew what I was actually doing there.." Hinata thought while laying in bed, blushing. Suddenly, he remembered the slip of paper from Kageyama's jacket and got up to grab it. He sat back down on his bed, phone in one hand and paper in the other, dialing in the numbers. 'What do I even say..?' He thought. 'I have the perfect idea!' Hinata thought after a minute.

"I'm wearing your jacket to school in front of everyoneee tomorrow and there's nothing you can do to stop me <333"

(as I'm rereading this I hate the beginning so much.. but it's just their introduction so oh well :p )
