I started crying as the lady told me my luggage was lost.

"Hey sweetheart it's okay we will replace it" my mom tried to comfort me

"But y-you can Oi-pictures are now gone" I said sobbing harder

"I'm sorry sweets" my mom said hugging me

Y/n's POV
Age:18

I ran to my practice excited to play some volleyball. But as I enter the gym it was deathly quiet completely opposite of the normal atmosphere. I froze at the doors as my teammates stopped me from going any further.

"Get our your not welcome here" the ace said harshly

"Didn't you hear her get out you Bitch" the Libero called

I slowly started backing up before taking off conflicted and confused. I ran into the woods that rested next to my rather large school.

I sat down on a tree that had fallen as I thought over why the girls kicked me out. As my mind raced for answers I came up at a dead end I didn't do anything it was just a normal day. Tears threatened to fall at the thought I was off the team.

There has to be a good reason after all I'm too strong of a setter to be kicked off

I thought before heading home as the sun sat on the California ocean front.

"Honey we are moving" my mother said outta breath

"What why" I said confused as I supported her

"Your grandmother she is recovering and I have to take care of her so go pack we are leaving the morning" she said before taking her hand off my shoulder and disappearing

I subconsciously rubbed my ring that hugged my finger as I walked upstairs and began to pack.

I slightly panicked as the plane landed my nerves going crazy.

"Carefully exit the plane" the flight attendant said

I quickly picked up my duffel and ran out of the plane to the entrance of the small airport. As I saw the entrance/exit I stopped and looked around quickly realizing I have no idea where my mother went.

I waited but the door for her to catch up getting weird looks as I was a girl alone sweating in a/c.

"What the hell are you thinking you just got here and your already running off at least take your phone Dumbass!!" My mom scolded as she shoved my phone into my hands before walking off

I chuckled nervously before I quickly caught up.

"Hello hun" my grandma said softly as we entered her room

"Hey gran how ya feeling" I asked as I gently held her hand

"A lot better know that you are here" she said chuckling slightly before coughing

"You should rest gran" I said gently before filling her water bottle and setting it back down

She feel asleep rather fast so I headed into the kitchen.

"Hey sweets you are starting school in two days Alright"my mom said chopping veggies

"Alright I'll be in my room" I said before heading to my basically empty room

As I laid down I quickly passed out not realizing how tired I was.

I groaned as light shined through my window, I slowly got up heading to the kitchen.

"Hey sweets you should look around town today Alright" my mom said before heading to Gran's room

I nodded before grabbing a banana smoothie and heading up to my room to change.

After I got ready I headed out the door with my wallet and phone.

I quietly walked around the corner with headphones in determined to find the school. I wondered for about an hour before coming across the high school Ill be attending.

I'm gonna need a better route

I sighed before wondering around the campus. As I walked I found myself in a huge gym with the boys team. I watched them practice mainly a very fit guy who didn't seem much taller than me. But after awhile another dude walked into the gym which caused the girls to go wild. I rolled my eyes quickly walking out catching the brunettes eye.
