Arthit leaned over the railing with a deep sigh.

When have things taken this turn?

Until a few weeks before, he was at the peak of his life; a wedding with the girl of his dreams to organize, money to spend and, above all, with the firm ground under his feet. He had never thought that he could miss the mainland so much. The cool breeze ruffled his hair slightly while behind him light steps signaled the end of tranquility.

"Kitty"

"Kitty my ass"

The nuisance, also known as Singto, the Lion of the Seas, leaned against the railing beside him with an amused chuckle.

"Language, Kitty. What happened to your refined way of speaking?"

"Look, call me Kitty again and I ..."

His threat interrupted by a pair of lips against his. A gentle peck that made him yearn for something more. Instinctively he tried to follow his lips but found only air. His eyes shot open when an amused chuckle broke the silence. He got lost in the taller's eyes before reality crashed down on him.

He was making fun of him!

"What the hell! How many times do I have to tell...". His complaints were cut off again by the other boy's lips. Without even having time to realize what was going on he felt the other's tongue slid into his mouth, and all his thoughts regarding the long-awaited marriage and terra firma dissipates. Arthit wrapped his arms around the taller boy's shoulders and tilted his head to deepen the kiss.

More. He wanted more.

He gripped his hair, pulling himself closer to his mouth, and he answered the kiss, fully and thoroughly.

"Captain!"

The sudden call awoke him from... whatever it was. Later he would have to thank that skinny guy with the funny hair.

A low growl from the Lion helped him to reconnect with reality. With horror he realized he was scooped in the pirate's arms and, even worse, that his heart was beating far too fast

"Oak, I really hope it's important" the taller was glaring dangerously at the newcomer but the latter seemed disinterested.

Hoping to catch the pirate by surprise Arthit tried to free himself from the embrace, but the other's arms tightened further around him preventing him from move away.

Damn pirates and their muscles.

Oak, probably thinking that his friendship with the Captain was strong enough not to risk being killed, ignored the taller man's glare, and started reading off the list of things to do.

"We need to discuss the budget, gunpowder and food supplies. Moreover, we have to discuss about... You know... stuff". Eventually Oak looked up at the couple and nodded subtly in the direction of the fair-skinned boy who was squirming in the Captain's arms.

With a sigh Singto dropped his arms to his sides, "Oak, I get it. Give me a second, I'm coming".

He smiled tenderly at Arthit and his hand moved to gently stroke his cheek.

"Kitty, I'm sorry, but I have to go. You should rest, why don't you wait for me in our room?"

Arthit felt his blood rush to his cheeks and ears. He tried to avoid making eye contact with the latter and pursed his lips in an offended pout.

Why was his smile so dazzling?

"Back in the cell" he scoffed trying to sound more annoyed than it felt.
