The rain is pelting hard against your raincoat, droplets slapping the yellow plastic with a thwap!

You shudder at a sudden cold wind, pressing you forwards as thunder claps overhead.

Not a great day for a walk, you think to yourself.

Just as things seem like they can't get any worse, you glance up from your boots and realise you're lost. Just great. You haven't even unpacked yet and you've already lost your new apartment. You stop to wonder if you've taken a wrong turn.

"Sizzles!" You hear a voice behind you cry out.
You turn to face the source but it's too late - before you know it, a wiener dog is sprinting towards you, headbutting your shins and sending you head over heels into a big muddy puddle.

"Fuck," You mutter, standing up to brush the mud from your coat to no avail. It's no use; You're now soaking wet and more miserable than before.

"I'm so sorry," Says a voice.

You look up from the mess and are immediately met with the prettiest boy you've ever seen. Dark brown eyes stare back into yours from a pale, freckled face.
You stumble back.

"I-I-I..." you stutter, unable to find your words.
"Here, let me help," he says, reaching to wipe off some mud, only to turn bright red as he accidentally brushes suspiciously close to your ass. He withdraws his hand.

"Ah, ah - I wish I had tissues or something. I'm sorry! Sometimes Sizzles gets a bit too eager. My dog, I mean," he gestures to the wiener dog beside him, wagging his tail, flicking mud everywhere.

"It's alright," you reassure him, "But there's something else you can do for me."

"Anything!"

"See, I can't find my apartment complex. I went for a walk and I must've took a wrong turn. Oh, my name's y/n. I'm, like, new to the area," you explain, but he interrupts you.

"I knew I recognised you from somewhere... You're the girl who just moved in next door." he beams at you, "I'm Marv, your new neighbour. How about I walk you home?"

You're taken aback - Did he just offer to walk you home? You can't believe your luck.

"I... Yes, I'd love that," you stammer.
