Arrival.

Yvonne's POV:

I was still stiff after hearing what my mother had just said, if I can remember clearly, her exact words were "you are going to love your new school dear, it's a lot better than ECOVEL", as she said the name in disgust.

In my head I was like "what?, you put me in the school without telling me in the first place, and now your disgusted by it?, and it wasn't easy making friends and now you want to repeat it again?", while I was still lost in my head, I didn't know she was staring at me from the other side of the car, probably wondering what I was thinking about cause I wasn't listening to any thing she was saying.

She then asked me what I was thinking about and I just told her the usual "NOTHING", I guess she had noticed the worried look on my face, she then decided to add that I wouldn't be alone, that Kenzie is also transferring to the school and I shouldn't feel sad, we would both have each other. Well that information brought a little sunshine to the storm that was already forming in my head, I then decided to give her a little smile just to put her mind at ease.

My mother really loves me and I know she didn't want to change my school just like that, she does have a reason. Well, I think it was the increase in ECOVEL school fees that made her do what she did [ that is, changing my school], but I love her so much, so what ever she has to do to balance our lives, I'll just have to support her.

It was a 2hr drive which seemed longer cause of the traffic. Anyways, we had finally arrived at the .Gorgeous and Big school [ I felt a grin appear on my face at the sight of the school ], my mom was still driving around in search of a parking space while I was admiring the school. I watched the students come out of the cars, jeeps and carry out their boxes and bags taking it towards the long que of parents and students waiting to get their clearance. We finally found a parking space , once we parked my mom turned to face me with a bright and caring smile on her pretty face, trying to boost my confidence and excitement, I then forced a smile on my face while feeling nervous and slightly happy butterflies in my stomach, I can swear I felt nervous.

As my mom and I brought out my things from the trunk, I spotted Kenzie and her dad coming towards us, I put my box down as I felt a huge smile appear on my face, I was more than happy that Kenzie was here with me, Kenzie and I have been close friends since kindergarten. I can remember the time we had to split up to different junior schools, but that didn't really separate us cause we lived close to each other and kept our contacts. Anyways, I'm more than happy that we get to be together in the same school again. Kenzie hugs me tight, like so tight, I'm guessing the hug was a mixture of her excitement and happiness, cause Kenzie is someone who loves making friends, I mean it comes so easy to her, I on the other hand I'm not one of the very social bugs, since kindergarten. I guess u can say she was blessed and I, well... I wasn't.

Kenzie's dad talks with my mom as we all make our way to the que, which seems to have gotten longer...ugh, I really don't like waiting in ques, its damn annoying. Fortunately, Kenzie was here to gist with me. we talked about all the POSSIBILITIES....ahh yes possibilities, I said it. 'Possibilities meaning all things that could go well OR things that could go TERRIBLE. Kenzie knows how I felt about the 'whole making new friends thing', she just kept pointing out all the great and exciting things that could happen, trying her best to encourage me, I love her so much, she really gets me and I know she loves me too, we basically consider our selves sisters since I am the only girl in my family with 6 elder brothers...yeah, six! I mean I love my brothers so much, and they all make out time for me through their busy schedules but since 4 of them graduated and got jobs, and the other 2 entered the university, so I've been alone and I spend most of my time with Kenzie.
